The computer program including instructions to select the java application for deployment, read a profile associated with the java application, select an environment based on the profile, and deploy the java application to an application server associated with a user authorized for the environment.

The attachment recipient designating code segment receives input from the sender. The input designates which class of recipients will receive the attached document(s).

Abstract: A system and method of storing contact information is disclosed. In a particular embodiment, the method includes receiving a request from a user at a web server of an Internet Protocol (IP) network to view call log data stored at a call log data store of the IP network. The method also includes issuing a request to obtain the call log data from the call log data store, wherein the call log data includes contact information associated with a call. The method also includes receiving a selection of the contact information from the user and sending the contact information to a network address book server of the IP network, where the contact information is stored in association with a network address book of the user.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a computer-readable medium, method and system for determining security vulnerabilities for a plurality of application programs used to provide television services to a customer device over a communications network. The method includes running a first scanning program against a first application program relating to a control panel for the customer device; running a second scanning program against a second application program that provides Internet content to the customer device; running a third scanning program against a third application program that relates to a component management system of customer premises equipment; and correlating security vulnerabilities identified utilizing the first, second, and third scanning programs.

Abstract: A method and system for managing performance data of communication lines, such as digital subscriber lines, is disclosed. The method includes receiving from a remote used device an identifier for a particular communications line at a web server; initiating a real-time performance analysis of the line at a network end of the line; receiving real-time performance data and converting the real time performance data to analyzed data; receiving field performance data from the user device; and converting at least one of the field performance data and the real-time performance data from a web-based format to a mainframe format; and sending the converted data to a mainframe for storage corresponding to a file associated with the identifier.

Abstract: In one illustrative embodiment a system for maintaining a communication link over a network includes a processor adapted to be coupled to a first communication link, the first communication link connected to a customer premises equipment (CPE), wherein the processor transmits data over the first link and switches to transmit data over the second link in response to a signal that is indicative of a degradation of service over the first link. In one aspect the system may include a switch at a service provider Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) for switching to a spare pair communication link when a degradation of service signal is received. In another aspect at least one spare pair communication link may be associated with a plurality of primary communication pairs.

Abstract: The present application discloses an automated digital subscriber line performance control system comprising a computer system including a logic module to evaluate performance of a plurality of DSL lines and to automatically select a set of DSL lines from the plurality of DSL lines, a line profile database responsive to the computer system, the line profile database providing a plurality of line profiles in response to a request from the computer system, and a digital subscriber line access multiplexer coupled to the computer system. The digital subscriber line access multiplexer is configured to measure a performance parameter of a plurality of physical DSL lines and to change a profile for at least one of the plurality of DSL lines. The set of DSL lines has degraded performance characteristics based on historical performance data.

Abstract: A method and five pin integrated protector and splitter module are provided for use at a protector panel of a facility for housing telephone-related equipment, where the module is capable of being used in conjunction with at least a broadband MODEM separate from a digital loop carrier. The module includes a first pair of module pins for receiving a signal including voice and data, and a protection circuit coupled with the first pair of module pins. The protection circuit includes a ground contact for coupling with a ground potential at the protector panel, for protecting telephone-related equipment from at least one of an overvoltage and overcurrent condition present at the first pair of module pins. The module further includes a splitter circuit coupled with the protection circuit, for splitting the voice from the received signal as a voice signal, and a second pair of module pins coupled with the splitter circuit, for providing the voice signal from the five pin module to the digital loop carrier.

The method includes determining a performance metric for at least one line from a first set of data that included measurements for each of a plurality of parameters related to the at least one line; establishing a benchmark utilizing a second set of measurements that includes at least one additional measurement for the plurality of parameters; and comparing the performance metric with the benchmark to determine the performance of the at least one line.

Abstract: A method for a user to manage calls includes provisioning the user with mobile minutes for calls within the same provider and usage minutes for usage calls. Upon a call between the user and another user it is determined whether the users have the same provider. The call is a mobile call within the same provider if the users have the same provider and is a usage call if the users have different providers. The call is completed if the call is a mobile call within the same provider and if the user has unlimited mobile minutes. If the call is a mobile call within the same provider and if the user has limited mobile minutes and if the some of the mobile minutes remain, then the user is advised accordingly. The call is a usage call if no mobile minutes remain regardless if the call is a mobile call within the same provider. The user is advised accordingly if the call is a usage call.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for detecting faults related to lines linked to provide network services. The method includes storing a synthetic value for the performance of a line, receiving a measured value of a performance parameter of the line measured at a customer end and comparing the synthetic value with the measured value to determine if a fault condition exists.
