  • Patent number: 10625194
Abstract: A filter cartridge for dust collection systems is provided that comprises a plurality of tubular filter members. More particularly, the filter cartridges comprise: (a) a first support structure comprising a plurality of apertures; (b) a second support structure; and (c) a plurality of tubular-shaped filter members disposed between the first support structure and the second support structure. The apertures within the first support structure are designed to enhance the Venturi effect within the tubular-shaped members, thereby forming a filter cartridge that may operate at lower pressure drops and flow velocities.

  • Patent number: 10500592
Abstract: A roller mill system includes a vessel having an inlet, an outlet, a grinding zone and a classifier zone. The grinding zone includes a grinding assembly configured for grinding the material into fine particles. The grinding zone also includes a rejects capture and discharge system that includes one or more discharge conduits for conveying rejects away from the vessel. The rejects capture and discharge system includes: 1) a collection trough located under the grinding assembly and in communication with one of the discharge conduits, for discharging rejects from the grinding zone; and/or 2) a turbine classifier mounted in the classifier zone. The turbine classifier is rotatable about a central axis. Another outlet is formed in a side wall of the classifier zone. The turbine classifier is configured to expel the rejects radially outward therefrom, through the side wall outlet and into another one of the discharge conduits.

  • Patent number: 10112333
Abstract: An extruder hood configured to operate in a steady-state configuration and a non-steady-state configuration. The extruder hood comprises an air inlet, an extruder hood outlet, and an extruder discharge zone within an interior space of the extruder hood, with the extruder discharge zone configured to receive extruded material. In the steady-state configuration, the extruder hood is configured to direct air received from the air inlet across the extruder discharge zone to cause extruded material to be ejected from the extruder hood via the extruder hood outlet. In the non-steady-state configuration, the extruder hood is configured to direct air received from the air inlet out of the extruder hood via the extruder outlet without being directed across the extruder discharge zone.

  • Patent number: 10111973
Abstract: A sanitization system for sanitizing a convey line broadly includes an ozone generation and delivery module, a compressed air source, and an air flow control system, and an ozone measurement and destruction module. The ozone generation and delivery module includes ozone generator, an ozone flow meter, a first ozone analyzer, a humidifier, and a humidity sensor and introduces a measured ozone gas stream into the convey line so that the ozone disinfects the inner surfaces of the convey line. The humidifier introduces moisture into the convey line to increase the effectiveness of the ozone as a disinfection agent. The ozone measurement and destruction module includes a second ozone analyzer, an ozone destructor, and an ozone monitor and removes ozone from the gas stream. The ozone measurement and destruction module also ensures that a desired amount of ozone reaches the end of the convey line.

  • Patent number: 10092934
Abstract: A cleaning system for cleaning a pneumatic conveyance system used to transport particulate material. The pneumatic conveyance system includes a material-introduction device for introducing particulate material into a convey line, and a motive air source for generating an air flow to propel the particulate material through the convey line. The cleaning system comprises a projectile comprising a cleaning surface for cleaning an interior of the convey line as the projectile travels through the convey line, a launcher for injecting the projectile into the convey line, with the launcher being coupled with the convey line at a position upstream from the material-introduction device, and a catcher vessel for receiving the projectile upon said projectile exiting the convey line.
