  • Patent number: 5269923
Abstract: An agitator suction filter for the filtration of fluids containing solids, is provided with a housing with an inlet opening, a bottom cover, a filter plate lying over the bottom cover, with an agitator arranged to rotate over the filter plate, this agitator being provided with an hydraulic lifting and lowering device and with extraction elements which carry or transport the filter cake to an outlet opening, and with an outlet opening and an outlet line which is provided with a shut-off device. Around the agitator shaft is arranged a drive bush which is connected at the external periphery via a drive element to the drive motor and at the internal periphery fixed against rotation to the agitator shaft, with the drive bush being led through a sealing unit and the agitator shaft mounted by the drive bush and movable axially via the lifting and lowering device.

  • Patent number: 4888111
Abstract: A process filter is provided with a heatable container within a rotating drive shaft moveable in an axial direction. To the agitating mechanism shaft is fastened a paddle support with paddles. The shaft is introduced over an inward-drawn container neck into the interior of the container. The shaft is hollow, with a feed line and a return line for the flow of a heating medium. The paddle support and the paddles have interior heating channels which connect with the feed line and the return line in the hollow shaft for the passage of a heating fluid therein.

  • Patent number: 4828697
Abstract: A suction filter for the filtration of particulate matter from fluids has a housing with an inlet opening, a bottom cover, a filter plate lying over the bottom cover, and with a wiper-cutter capable of rotation over the filter plate. The wiper-cutter comprises arms which carry the filter cake into the middle of the filter plate where a central outlet opening is connected to an outlet line in the bottom cover. A valve closes off the outlet line. In the housing or in the outlet line is a vertically adjustable drill, which cuts a hole through the filter cake to permit the cake cut and carried inward by the wiper-cutter arms to fall into the outlet line.

  • Patent number: 4417980
Abstract: A filtration apparatus comprises a tiltably mounted container having a liquid permeable filter bottom, a wall opposite such bottom, and an inverted neck extending inwardly from that opposite wall. A power shaft extends through the inverted neck into the container and carries a mixing implement in the container. A guide bearing for the power shaft is located in the inverted neck. A drive for the mixing implement is supported on the container wall opposite the filter bottom for driving the power shaft. A lifting mechanism connected to said power shaft is also supported by that opposite wall for axially displacing the power shaft and mixing implement in said container. A support bearing at one side of the container and the frame has an apertured part rotatable with the tiltable container. Conduits are conducted through the apertured part for angular movement with the container, thereby avoiding a tangling of lines.
