Abstract: A halogen-free flame retardant obtainable by polycondensation of phosphoric monomers with esterifying monomers is provided. The phosphoric monomer is an adduct of 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phospha-phenanthrene-10-oxide (DOPO) and ring substituted DOPO derivatives to unsaturated carboxylic acids. Monovalent and polyvalent alcohols are used as esterifying monomers. The flame retardant has an average molecular weight of more than 20,000 and an average degree of polymerization Pn of at least 55, and is preferably used for the production of polyamide fibers and polyester fibers by melt spinning.
Abstract: The invention relates to encapsulated rubber additives in the form of microcapsules having a polymer capsule wall and a core which comprises at least one rubber additive. The invention likewise relates to a method for the production of microcapsules of this type. The microcapsules according to the invention are used during vulcanisation of natural and synthetic rubbers.
Abstract: The invention relates to microcapsules made of a core which contains at least one rubber additive and of a shell made of a first polymer. At least one coating made of a second polymer, which differs from the first polymer, and/or of a low molecular inorganic or organic compound, is deposited on the surface of the microcapsules as sliding or wearing layer in order to reduce the static friction.
