Abstract: A straightening device (15) for aligning a line (11) along a delivery route. The device including a straightening stand (20) having a first row of rollers (21) and a second row of rollers (31) which rows can be moved relative to one another and between which the delivery route of the line runs. At least one of the two rows of rollers (21, 31) has a plurality of rotatable rollers (25, 35). A braking device (40) is provided for braking at least one of the rotatable rollers (25, 35) of at least one of the two rows of rollers (21, 31) in the straightening stand. A method for braking at least one rotatable roller (25, 35) of at least one of the two rows of rollers (21, 31) in a straightening device, a cable processing machine with a straightening device, and an upgrade kit for a cable processing machine.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus (100, 200, 300) for cutting, centering or holding a cable in a stripping head, comprising a first toothed belt wheel (1) and a second toothed belt wheel (2), which are rotatable coaxially and synchronously, but however in an angularly adjustable way with respect to one another, about a rotational axis (X), as well as a tool flange (21) coaxially connected to the first toothed belt wheel (1), in which a central opening (A) is disposed, through which the cable is able to be led or passed, the tool flange 21 comprising one or more movably attached tools (23), whereby the tools (23) are movable in relation to the rotational axis (X) by means of the positioning means (18) connected to the second toothed belt wheel (2), characterized in that the radial distance of the tools (23) to the rotational axis (X) is adjustable through an angular rotation between the first toothed belt wheel (1) and the second toothed belt wheel (2), which are driven by a common drive means (13)
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for configuring a cable processing device for crimping a cable connection to a cable end of a cable comprising a tool mounting and a first cable stop, which carries out a method for positioning the tool mounting arranged to hold the cable connection and the first cable stop arranged to support the cable during assembling of the cable connection to the cable. The tool mounting and the first cable stop are independently positioned vertically, and the positioning takes place as a function of a cable conveying direction of a cable conveying means. Further described are a computer program product, as well as a computer readable storage medium.
Abstract: A device for identifying contact with an electrical conductor by at least one electrically conductive tool (2ra, 2rb). The device comprises a tool holder (Ir) rotationally mounted about a rotation axis (X), and the tool (2ra, 2rb) arranged on the tool holder. The device additionally comprises an electrically conductive body (ECB) and a rotor-side inductive element (L1) arranged on the electrically conductive body (Ir). A parallel resonant circuit comprises at least one rotor-side circuit element (A), at least one stator-side circuit element (B), a stationary circuit arrangement (28) and a stator-side inductive element (L2). The rotor-side inductive element and the stator-side inductive element are arranged to measure characteristic oscillation parameters (?, Am, f) of the parallel resonant circuit independently of the rotation speed of the tool holder (Ir).

Abstract: A method of removing an inner sheath of electrical conductors of a multicore cable (K) having a film located between a shielding or an insulation and the inner conductors. The method comprising the steps of clamping of the cable (K), cutting of the inner sheath, establishing a connection with a pull-off means (5), and subsequently pulling off a cut or a cut-off sheath in a longitudinal direction of the cable (K).

Abstract: An apparatus for removing an inner sheathing of electrical conductors of a preferably multi-core cable comprises at least one holding arrangement/clamping device for axial and rotational clamping of the cable and a cutter assembly (1, 21) that can be rotated about the cable longitudinal axis, to the cutters of which a force can be applied in the direction of the cable axis. The at least one cutter (24, 26) comprises a contact surface (26) provided for placing on the surface of the inner sheathing and directly adjacent thereto a cutting edge (24), which protrudes beyond this contact surface (26).
