At least two support recesses for receiving at least two projections of a support plate of an identical container stacked thereon are formed in the upper edge portion of the at least one side wall.

Abstract: A foldable container includes a bottom, side walls that can be folded in, a lid, a closure element that can be moved relative to the lid, at least one first closure element mating piece, and at least one second closure element mating piece. The at least one second closure element mating piece is provided on a portion of the side walls that faces the bottom and/or on the bottom in such a way that, in a storage position of the lid, the at least one second closure element mating piece can interact in a form-fitting manner with the closure element in order to lock the lid in the storage position with the side walls folded in.

Abstract: A container for transporting and storing liquid, viscous or pourable substances, in particular a container of the Intermediate Bulk Container type, includes a base, a side wall and at least one outlet recess in the base and/or the side wall, in which an outlet valve is or can be arranged and which is closable on the outside of the container by a cover. The cover has a base section, by which the cover is fastened or fastenable to the container, and a closure section that is hinged on the base section via a hinge assembly such that it can pivot about a rotational axis. The hinge assembly is designed to hold or lock the closure section in a self-supporting manner in a position releasing the outlet recess.

A pair of guide contours are provided on the wall sections, in contact with one another and formed separately from the hinge pin and hinge pin attachment to define a simultaneous rotational and translational movement of the hinge pin in the hinge pin attachment.

Abstract: A light weight container (1) comprising a base (3), four sidewalls (2) and four corner portions, characterized in that the corner portions are so arranged as to allow flexibility between the sidewalk (2) so that an upper opening area of the container (1) can be made smaller by forcing the sidewalls (2) towards each other (compression) and larger by forcing the sidewalk (2) apart (expansion). The invention also relates to a process for the manufacturing of a container (1).
