Patents Assigned to Schrader SAS
  • Patent number: 8511332
Abstract: A valve of the “Snap-In” type is intended to be mounted directly on the rim of a vehicle wheel fitted with a “tubeless” tire. The valve is secured to the rim through which it passes via a groove produced at the base of a bulb extended by a rubbery coating of an internal nozzle of the valve. The groove collaborates elastically with a hole in the rim, on the periphery of which hole it becomes lodged, the mass or the volume of the bulb being smaller in its region (A) toward the interior of the rim by comparison with its region (B) directed toward the exterior, this reduction taking place near the groove intended to collaborate with the hole in the rim, both in the part thereof that surrounds the nozzle and in the part thereof that is in contact with the bottom of the rim.

  • Publication number: 20120080621
Abstract: A valve incorporates a sensor which can be remotely interrogated wirelessly. A body of the valve comprises a seat, a mobile assembly comprising a rod forming a plug with the seat, by way of a sealing component for closing off and releasing a fluid passage on command. The sensor is fixed to a base at the lower end of the rod.

  • Patent number: 8087642
Abstract: Charge valve for gas, in particular for carbon dioxide, comprising a seat, drilled with a passage, a shaft movable inside the passage against the compression of a return spring bearing against the seat and an elastomeric seal compressed between the seat and the shaft to close the passage when the shaft is moved into a first closed position, called low-pressure position, wherein a thermoplastic seal comprising a polymer that is deformable but has a hardness higher than that of the elastomeric seal, is added onto the seat or onto the shaft to close the passage when the thermoplastic seal is compressed between the seat and the shaft in a second closed position, called high-pressure position, against an additional compression of the elastomeric seal.
