Abstract: A bung plug closure for bung-hole containers includes a bung plug for being placed in a bung neck and a seal cap for closing a plug recess formed in the bung plug, the plug recess having a space for receiving a dimensionally elastic engaging body formed on the seal cap and having a radial locking protrusion, a valve disposed in a bottom of the plug recess, the valve having a valve body disposed in a valve opening of a bottom recess, the valve body including a valve cover connected to the bung plug, the valve cover being an elastically deformable disk, the valve cover connected to the bung plug such that a circumferential edge of the valve cover, which protrudes radially outward over matching locking elements for interlocking with the locking protrusion, is received between the locking protrusion of the engaging body and a recess edge of the bottom recess.

Abstract: A bung plug closure (30) for fastening a plug depression formed in a bung plug (31), said plug depression comprising a receiving area for receiving a resilient engagement body realized on the seal cap (11), and said bung plug (31) comprising tool engagement projections (33), which are arranged on an inner wall of the plug depression and which are distanced to each other via gaps (34) and which delimit the receiving space using inner surfaces (37), counter-locking elements (32) being provided in the plug depression, said counter-locking elements (32) being arranged in the area of the gaps (34) above an annular frame (35, 61), which is formed outside of the gaps (34) via lower sections (36) of the inner surfaces (37).

Abstract: A seal cap (10) for a container closure includes a cover disc (11) having a fastening ring, connected to an underside of the cover disc, with a latching element, for producing a detachable engagement connection with the container closure, connected to a pull tab arranged at the circumference of the cover disc via a connecting element. The connecting element has a cover strip formed in the cover disc that is separated from adjacent areas of the cover disc by lateral cover-strip predetermined breaking lines, which have predetermined breaking elements and has a pull web connected to the latching element of the fastening ring. The cover strip extends from the pull tab, at the circumference of the cover disc into a central inner portion (18) of the cover disc within the fastening ring and the pull web is arranged in an intersecting area between the cover strip and the fastening ring.

Abstract: Drums of thermoplastic synthetic material include a circumferentially extending carrying and transport ring arranged on the drum wall in the vicinity of the upper bottom, and at least one bunghole connection sleeve arranged in a trough-shaped indentation of the upper head of the drum in the area of the rim thereof. An integrally formed stiffening bead is arranged on the inner side of the carrying and transport ring of a drum of the above-described type in the vicinity of a bunghole connection sleeve. A stiffening hump is formed in the upper head of the drum between the stiffening bead of the carrying and transport ring and the bunghole connection sleeves.

Abstract: A wide-neck drum of thermoplastic material has a removable cover and a clamping ring closure. The drum is provided with an arrangement of a bung socket of a filling and discharge bung of the cover which is outwardly offset relative to the center point of the bung cover. The bung is provided at a flat or slightly curved bottom which has an upwardly protruding cover rim for fastening the bung cover on the drum opening rim.

Abstract: A tubular rivet connection is provided for assembling a transport and storage container that has a support frame, an inner plastic container with a filling socket and a discharge socket, and an exterior jacket. The support frame for the inner container has corner and center legs mounted on a base frame. The top of the support frame and the exterior jacket are attached to the corner legs and center legs by the tubular rivet connection that has a tubular rivet stem connected to a first component; the tubular rivet stem is formed as a monolithic part of the first component or is a separate part welded to the first component. A second component to be riveted to the first component has a rivet hole. A free end of the tubular rivet stem that projects past the second component after insertion into the rivet hole is deformed to a driven head.

Abstract: The screw cap of plastic for closing a filling and/or removal opening of a container for the transport and storage of liquids is equipped with a plug, in which a venting and aerating device is integrated. The screw cap has a sealing cap; and a protective cover, which completely covers the screw cap and protects the screw cap against contamination.

Abstract: A wide mouth plastic barrel with a removable lid and a clamping ring closure is manufactured by extruding a plastic tube into a blow mold and by producing a closed preform. The preform is finish-blown to a barrel body, wherein the blowing air for finish-blowing a barrel body with a closed lid is introduced through a blow nozzle inserted into an intermediate ring of the barrel body and the blowing air for finish-blowing a barrel body with a bung lid is introduced through a bung hole by a blow nozzle and optionally through a blow nozzle in the intermediate ring. After removal from the blow mold, the lid is separated from the barrel body by cutting out the intermediate ring. A seal is inserted into the barrel lid, and the barrel lid is fastened by the clamping ring on a projection of the basic barrel member.

Abstract: A carrying handle mount on a plastic container has a mounting plate of plastic material. A carrying handle is connected to the mounting plate. A securing plate of plastic material is connected to the plastic container, wherein the mounting plate is connected by screwing to the securing plate. An overtightening protection device for the mounting plate is provided to protect the mounting plate from overtightening when screwing the mounting plate onto the securing plate. An anti-rotation device for the mounting plate is provided for protecting the mounting plate from becoming detached from the securing plate.

Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a plastic container for liquids, the container is blow-molded to have a securing segment on an outer side of the recess of the front wall for centering and securing the finish-blowmolded container in a welding machine and to have a round depression in the outer side of the recess that has a diameter matching a nominal width of the dispensing valve. The bottom of the round depression is cut by a cutting tool that is centered in the round depression for producing the discharge opening of the container. A fastening flange of the intake socket of the dispensing valve is fused to an outer edge of the discharge opening. Alternatively, a dispensing socket of plastic material having an outer thread is fused to the outer edge of the discharge opening and the dispensing valve is secured on the dispensing socket by a union nut.

Abstract: A plastic barrel, embodied as a bung barrel or a lid barrel, is manufactured as a single-layer container or multi-layer container by extrusion blow molding. The plastic barrel has a barrel body having an inner surface and an outer surface. The barrel body has sections integrated into the barrel body, wherein the sections are made of electrically conducting plastic material and form electric connections between the inner surface and the outer surface of the barrel body so that electric charges of the interior of the barrel can be dissipated to the outer surface.

Abstract: A sectioned storage container for liquids has an inner plastic container to be filled with a liquid and a plastic receptacle that surrounds the inner container so that an intermediate space is formed between the inner container and the receptacle. The inner container is made of at least two blow-molded monolithic parts connected with one another by a groove-shaped vertical recess extending in the sidewalls, the container bottom, and the top of the inner container. The receptacle has an insertion opening for the inner container so that the inner container projects with top portions thereof upwardly from the receptacle through the insertion opening. The sidewalls and the receptacle bottom of the receptacle have a groove-shaped vertical recess which is matched to the recess of the sidewalls and the container bottom of the inner container. A peripheral vertical reinforcement strap engages the vertical recesses and reinforces the storage container.

Abstract: A solar collector has a distribution and collecting unit having a housing and a distribution channel and a connecting channel arranged in the housing. Collector tubes for heating a fluid medium are connected to the housing. The collector tubes have an adaptor, respectively, with a rotary closure for connecting the collector tubes to the distribution channel and the collecting channel of the housing. The adaptor is rotatably adjustable for aligning the collector tubes relative to the solar radiation in order to improve thermal output of the solar collector.
