Abstract: An interface transition for use in compression in connection with panels where air and/or water penetration is undesirable having a first body, a second body, an adhesive layer positioned intermediate the first body and the second body, and an impregnation into at least the first body, wherein the combination of the bodies, adhesive layer and impregnation reduces the air leakage rate therethrough and moisture infiltration therein after the interface transition is compressed to a width 75% of its uncompressed width. The interface transition may include an extension member for splicing and construction of a four-way intersection.

Abstract: A system which creates a durable seal between adjacent horizontal panels, including those that may be curved or subject to temperature expansion and contraction or mechanical shear. The durable seal system incorporates a plurality of ribs, a flexible member between the cover plate and the ribs and may incorporate a load transfer plate to provide support to the rib from below, and/or cores of differing compressibilities.
Abstract: An expansion joint seal has a core of resiliently-compressible material, a sensor, and a sensor-signal receiving device to identify internal and/or environmental conditions.

Abstract: An expansion joint system for supporting and distributing transfer loads and for splicing adjacent systems together. The system includes an elongated core and at least three longitudinal load-transfer members with hollow cylindrical profiles within the elongated core and terminating at each face of the elongated core. The system may include splicing members sized to transition fit into each of the longitudinal load-transfer members to provide an interlocking body to join adjacent expansion joint systems.
