At its rear part which is towards the gripping portion the front portion has a coupling part for non-rotatable connection to a nut member disposed in the gripping portion. A second spring is disposed in the gripping portion to urge the screwthreaded spindle rearwardly therein.

Abstract: A marking fluid based on an aqueous solution of hydroxyprene trisulfonic acid as a fluorescence dyestuff and having a pH-value in the alkaline range. The marking fluid further includes at least one mono, oligo or polysaccharide, or a polyol derived therefrom by reduction, or a mixture thereof, to improve the properties of the fluid in a number of respects. The marking fluid can be used on a wide range of different surfaces and affords improved fastness in relation to light.

Abstract: A protective cap for a writing, drawing or applicator element comprises an outer casing portion and within same a closure cap portion which has a cover portion for sealingly covering over the applicator member of the implement. The cap portion is connected to the casing portion by means of ribs which define between them through openings through which the interior of the cap is in fluid communication with the exterior thereof. The through openings are of an overall cross-section of at least 5 mm.sup.2 in order at least to reduce the risk of asphyxiation if the cap is unintentionally swallowed. At each of the two axially mutually remote ends of the casing the internal space within the casing includes respective end portions which are each defined in respect of their axial dimension by a stick abutment means for fixing the position of a respective stick in the internal space end portion. One or both internal space end portions may accommodate a respective cosmetic stick, and the two end portions of the space within the tubular casing are of the same configuration to minimize the sorting expenditure involved when processing casings.
