Abstract: A computer system includes a computer case, an enclosure, and a heat dissipating device. The computer case includes a rear plate with a plurality of ventilation holes. The enclosure includes a separating portion to divide the computer case into a first receiving area and a second area. The heat dissipating device includes a first heat sink, a second heat sink, a heat pipe and a fan. The first heat sink is attached to a chip, and the fan communicates with the second heat sink. The first heat sink and the fan are received in the first receiving area, and the second heat sink is received in the second receiving area. The heat pipe extends through the separating portion, and the plurality of ventilation holes, the first heat sink, the fan, the heat pipe, and the second heat sink together defines an air path for air flowing through.

Abstract: A device housing includes a main body, a metallic layer, and a paint layer. The main body defines a first surface and a second surface adjacent to each other. The metallic layer is formed on the first surface, and the paint layer is formed on the second surface. The device housing further defines a groove between the first surface and the second surface to separate the metallic layer and the paint layer. An apparatus for making the device housing is also described.

The signal module is secured to the chassis and includes a signal card, and the signal card is engaged with the connector. The assisting member is secured to a first end of the mounting assembly and includes an assisting corner. The assisting corner abuts the signal module. The connector is located between the assisting corner and a second end of the mounting assembly, which is opposite to the first end. The second end rotates about the assisting corner, and the connector disengages from the signal card when the second end is rotated about the assisting corner.

Abstract: A mounting device for mounting a number of fans includes a rack and a number of fixing members. The rack includes a bottom wall and two sidewalls perpendicularly extending up from opposite sides of the rack. Each sidewall defines a number of vents spaced along the lengthwise of the sidewall. Each fixing member includes a board perpendicularly mounted to the bottom wall and positioned at a side of two aligning vents, and a blocking member mounted to the board and slidable along the lengthwise of the sidewalls to block a top of a fan.

The ejecting mechanism includes an ejecting member. The bar portion selectively presses the ejecting member. When the button is pressed, the hook is disengaged from the latching groove, the bar portion presses the ejecting member to force the ejecting member to eject the battery cover.

Abstract: A server cabinet includes a rack, two slide rails, a server, and two brackets. Two first posts are formed at a front end of the rack, and two second posts are formed at a rear end of the rack. Each slide rail is fastened between the corresponding first post and second post. The server is connected between the slide rails and includes two opposite side plates. Each side plate and the corresponding slide rail bound a channel. Electronic components are mounted in a front end of the server. The brackets are fastened to the server and respectively fastened to front ends of the slide rails. A number of first through holes are defined in one of the brackets, aligning with the corresponding channel. A number of second through holes are defined in the side plate near the first through holes, behind the electronic components.

The lamp shell is fixed to a periphery of the substrate. The light module is received between the lamp shell and the bottom surface of the substrate of the heat sink. The substrate defines a first through-hole through the top and bottom surfaces thereof to communicate airflow channels between the fins with a space below the bottom surface of the substrate, wherein the light module is received in the space.

Abstract: A computer includes a number of hard disk drives (HDDs), a number of Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) connectors correspondingly connected to the HDDs, and a number of jumpers. Each SATA connector includes a power supply pin, a spin-up pin, a ground pin, and a pin base with first to third pins. The first to the third pins are respectively connected to the power supply pin, the spin-up pin, and the ground pin. The second pin of each SATA connector is connected to either the first pin or the third pin by a corresponding jumper, thereby the corresponding HDD starts up with the computer or starts up at a preset time after the computer has started up.

The microcontroller includes a general purpose input output (GPIO) pin. When different operating options of the indicator light are set into and by the BIOS IC, the BIOS IC controls the GPIO pin of the microcontroller to output command signals, such as a low voltage signal, a high voltage signal and pulse signals, then the signal control unit generates and outputs signals according to the command signals. Thus, the electronic switch is operated to turn on or turn off or to pulse when controlling the operation of the indicator light(s).
