    Abstract: A novel polishing pad is described. The polishing pad includes a base plate, a main polishing body, a plurality of metal bottom portions, a positive electrode conductive wire and a negative electrode conductive wire. The main polishing body made from a non-conductive material and disposed on the base plate includes a plurality of cavities thereon. The metal bottom portions are disposed in the cavities with each of the cavities having one of the metal bottom portions therein. The positive electrode conductive wire electrically is connected to a positive electrode of a power supply. The negative electrode conductive wire electrically is connected to a negative electrode of the power supply. The positive electrode conductive wire and the negative electrode conductive wire alternatively pass through the base plate and connect to the metal bottom portions respectively.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor (FET) structure and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the method comprises: forming a semiconductor substrate comprising an SOI structure having a body-contact hole; forming a fin on the SOI structure of the semiconductor substrate; forming a gate stack structure on top and side faces of the fin; forming source/drain structures in the fin on both sides of the gate stack structure; and performing metallization. The present invention makes use of traditional quasi-planar based top-down processes, thus the manufacturing process thereof becomes simple to implement; the present invention exhibits good compatibility with CMOS planar process and can be easily integrated; the present invention also is favorable for suppressing short channel effects desirably, and boosts MOSFETs to develop towards a trend of downscaling size.

    Abstract: A camera tracing and surveillance system and method for security using a thermal image coordinate, whereby an image having high resolution for identification in which a person can be accurately identified within a surveillance area and identity of the person can be accurately checked, can be obtained using a simple algorithm. To this end, the person within the surveillance area is identified and a position coordinate of the person is extracted from a thermal image captured by a thermal image camera, and a tracing and surveillance camera traces the person, enlarges an image of the person, and captures the enlarged image based on the extracted position coordinate so that an image having high resolution for identification can be obtained.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an optimized recombinant flagellin protein and preparation and use thereof. The protein is with a deletion in the hypervariable region, said hypervariable region is the region from 180 to 400 amino acid of the flagellin protein, and the proteins include FliC?190-278, FliC?220-320 or FliC?180-400. The method of preparing said protein, comprising introducing a deletion into the hypervariable region of the flagellin protein. First constructed the flagellin protein recombinant plasmid, and then used it as template to construct the flagellin deletion cloning, and expressed and purified. The present invention also provides the use of the recombinant flagellin protein as adjuvant. The recombinant flagellin protein in present invention decreases the potential risks it may have, and decreases its antigenicity and immunogenicity and the inflammatory response induced by it, through deleting its main areas of immunogenicity and antigen activity.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of reducing floating body effect of SOI MOS device via a large tilt ion implantation including a step of: (a) implanting ions in an inclined direction into an NMOS with a buried insulation layer forming a highly doped P region under a source region of the NMOS and above the buried insulation layer, wherein the angle between a longitudinal line of the NMOS and the inclined direction is ranging from 15 to 45 degrees. Through this method, the highly doped P region under the source region and a highly doped N region form a tunnel junction so as to reduce the floating body effect. Furthermore, the chip area will not be increased, manufacturing process is simple and the method is compatible with conventional CMOS process.

Also provided is a method of inducing a phase transition of a bilayer membrane vesicle, the method including the step of adding a dehydrating condensing agent or a dehydrating condensing agent precursor having the property of accumulating at an interface to the bilayer membrane vesicle. By causing the lipids that form a molecular aggregate to chemically change, it is possible to change the physical property and the morphology of the molecular aggregate and control the timing of phase transitions such as membrane fusion.
