  • Publication number: 20130123383
Abstract: This invention focuses on improving mechanical properties without deteriorating flame retardancy in peroxide cross-linked and radiation cross-linked thermosetting clean flame retardant compositions. Optimal mechanical properties can be obtained by modifying the ratios of MAGNIFIN H10A/Ultracarb LH 15X in peroxide crosslinked or radiation crosslinked clean flame retardant composition. Higher tensile strength can be obtained by higher MAGNIFIN H10A content, and higher elongation at break can be obtained by higher Ultracarb LH 15X content. The invented compositions show excellent mechanical properties, flame retardancy, thermal properties, electrical properties and process ability for meeting the stringent specifications of wire and cable industry. Composition is made of 100 parts by weight of resin (polyolefin or 100 parts by weight of polyolefin/EPDM), 90-150 parts by weight of MAGNIFIN H10A/Ultracarb LH 15X as main flame retardants, 1-20 parts by weight of auxiliary secondary flame retardant agents and 0.2-1.

Abstract: Systems and methods which utilize a current null cut reflector dipole antenna configuration are shown. According to embodiments, a plurality of current null points are identified with respect to an antenna element reflector configuration whereby a reflector is provided which terminates at the identified current null points. Accordingly, a noncontiguous reflector is provided in current null cut reflector dipole antenna elements. The discontinuity in the noncontiguous reflector is utilized for disposing signal feed paths providing a feed network to the dipole antenna element of the current null cut reflector dipole antenna. Accordingly, current null cut reflector dipole antennas of embodiments may be provided in configurations which are relatively simple and inexpensive to manufacture, such as two-sided printed circuit board configurations.

  • Patent number: 8440414
Abstract: The present invention is to provide meiosis-specific novel kinetochore protein Sgo1 (shugoshin) derived from fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe, and a homologue or paralogue thereof having a regulatory activity of chromosome segregation; and DNAs encoding them; as a factor ensuring the retention of unidirection and cohesion in sister centromere at meiosis I in cooperation with cohesin. To elucidate the proteins protecting Rec8 during anaphase, the present inventor screened in fission yeast genes for a gene that inhibits mitotic growth and prevents sister chromatid from the separation at anaphase, when co-expressed with Rec8. In this approach, meiosis-specific protein Sgo1 that protects (Shugo) centromeric Rec8 from the degradation at anaphase I was indentified. Further, a budding yeast Sgo1 homologue and a fission yeast mitotic paralogue Sgo2 were identified.
