Abstract: A method may include obtaining fracture image data regarding a geological region of interest. The method may further include determining various fractures in the fracture image data using a first artificial neural network and a pixel-searching process. The method may further include determining a fracture model using the fractures, a second artificial neural network, and borehole image data. The method may further include determining various fracture permeability values using the fracture model and a third artificial neural network. The method may further include determining various matrix permeability values for the geological region of interest using core sample data. The method may further include generating a coarsened grid model for the geological region of interest using a fourth artificial neural network, the matrix permeability values, and the fracture permeability values.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method for increasing the viability of cells by ultrasound irradiation and an ultrasound irradiation apparatus using same. The method comprises: applying a drug and an epidermal drug delivery system onto the epidermis of a subject; and, with ultrasound parameters each being preset within a certain range, an ultrasound irradiation apparatus irradiating ultrasound onto the epidermis of the subject through an ultrasound generation unit placed within a critical range from the epidermis of the subject, wherein the epidermal drug delivery system induces the formation of cavities, i.e., cavitation around the epidermis of the subject when the ultrasound is irradiated, the ultrasound parameters at least include an ultrasound pressure and an ultrasound duty percentage, the ultrasound pressure is 0.5-1 MPa, and the ultrasound duty percentage is 1-5%.

Abstract: A method for analyzing signal irregularity of radiation in a lightning leader is provided, which relates to a field of lightning signal processing and includes: S1: acquiring electric field signals; S2: dividing the electric field signals into multiple segments according to time, and calculating an average sample entropy value of each segment of the electric field signals; S3: dividing the multiple segments of electric field signals into three regions according to the time, quantifying irregularity of radiation of the three regions in the leader according to sample entropies and performing classification based on numerical variation characteristics of the irregularity; S4: comparing the classified data with lightning positioning data to form an analysis database; and S5: acquiring real-time electric field signals, calculating average sample entropy values of the electric field signals, and predicting development characteristics of irregular radiation in the lightning leader.

Abstract: Introduced here are diagnostic platforms able to optimize computer-aided diagnostic (CADx) models by simulating the optical performance of an imaging device based on its mechanical components. For example, a diagnostic platform may acquire a source image associated with a confirmed diagnosis of a medical condition, simulate optical performance based on design data corresponding to a virtual prototype of the imaging device, generate a training image by altering the source image based on the optical performance, apply a diagnostic model to the training image, and then determine whether the performance of the diagnostic model meets a specified performance threshold. If the diagnostic model fails to meet the specified performance threshold, the diagnostic platform can automatically optimize the diagnostic model for the imaging device by altering its underlying algorithm(s).

A health management platform provides various services that are accessible to a patient via a graphical user interface (GUI). Input data are received from various services and processed to generate contextual data associated with the patient such as a health state of the patient. Using the contextual data, a recommendation to access a particular service is generated and presented to the patient via the GUI. For example, in response to determining a health state of a patient, a recommendation to access a service to improve the health state of the patient can be automatically presented via the GUI to encourage the patient to access the service.

Abstract: The present application discloses a processor video memory optimization method and apparatus for deep learning training tasks, and relates to the technical field of artificial intelligence. In the method, by determining an optimal path for transferring a computing result, the computing result of a first computing unit is transferred to a second computing unit by using the optimal path. Thus, occupying the video memory is avoided, and meanwhile, a problem of low utilization rate of the computing unit of a GPU caused by video memory swaps is avoided, so that training speed of most tasks is hardly reduced.
Abstract: Disclosed are a method of manufacturing a carbon support for a fuel cell catalyst, a carbon support for a fuel cell catalyst manufactured according to the method, and a catalyst for a fuel cell including the same. The method may include using various organic materials containing N and various carbon supports and thus provide excellent economic feasibility. In addition, pyridinic N and pyrrolic N of doped N can be adjusted at an optimal content ratio so that the carbon support for a fuel cell catalyst manufactured and the catalyst for a fuel cell including the same have excellent electrochemical resistance and excellent electrochemical characteristic due to an increase in an electrochemically active surface area, and excellent durability due to an increase in thermal durability.
