  • Patent number: 7584678
Abstract: An inexpensive and high efficiency power transmission method and device with a simple structure for converting a rotational motion into a linear motion in accordance with a load is provided. A feed screw (21) and a female screw (22) having a larger diameter than the feed screw are engaged in an eccentric manner. A counterforce from a work is detected by a helical spring (28). Then, rotation restraint of the female screw (22) engaged in an eccentric manner is released, and the female screw (22) is rotated. The feed screw (21) and the female screw (22) rotate in a differential manner so that traveling speed is decreased and that pressing force is increased.

  • Patent number: 5676527
Abstract: An adjustable flow pump, particularly an air pump, utilizing reciprocal movement of a diaphragm movement bar to achieve pumping. The stroke of the reciprocating diaphragm movement bar can be adjusted without stopping operation of the pump. The diaphragm movement bar is mounted on a pump main body and a swing member is operably coupled to a rotary output shaft of a motor. The rotary output shaft is connected to a cam which imparts motion to the swing member. The movement of the swing member is transmitted, by a linking member, to the reciprocating diaphragm movement bar which then moves along a linear guide. The stroke of the diaphragm movement bar is adjusted by a linear motion mechanism which is operable to change the position of the swing member relative to the diaphragm movement bar.

  • Patent number: 5604335
Abstract: The oscillation of an oscillator is automatically stopped during gas sampling, and the gas sampling is automatically stopped during the measurement of the frequency of the oscillator before and after the gas sampling, thereby making it possible to avoid the measurement error due to a change in resonance frequency by the effect of dynamic and static pressures applied to a filter paper holder mounted at the free end of the oscillator in the gas sampling, and to prevent the dislodgement and reentrainment of suspended particulates collected in the filter paper due to the oscillation acceleration. Accordingly, it is possible to accurately measure the mass of suspended particulates deposited on a filter paper compared with the conventional method in which the gas sampling and the measurement of the frequency are simultaneously and continuously performed while oscillating an oscillator.
