Abstract: A vacuum-pinch grip panel structure of a hot-fillable container. The panel structure includes an upper rib, a lower rib, an intermediate panel and a grip portion. The upper and lower ribs extending laterally across the structure while the intermediate panel and the grip portion extend between the upper and lower ribs. The upper rib, lower rib, intermediate panel and grip portion are connected together for relative movement therebetween. The movement being pivoting movement of the upper rib, lower rib, intermediate panel and grip portion generally toward a center area of the structure upon reduced internal container pressures.
