Abstract: A semi-automatic picking system having pick modules associated with individual compartments of storage bays includes a switch, for manually decrementing or incrementing the module to indicate the number picked. One or more orders may be picked at the same time. Such information is stored for use with a data input device and a control unit.
Abstract: A portable housing is shown for containing and protecting a hand held radio transmitter-receiver and a relatively large power supply, such housing being of three molded basic sections with a handle attached thereto, the radio being removable from said housing.
Abstract: An applied force whose mangitude is to be measured is caused to change the spacing between a pair of conductive plates. The resulting variation in capacitance between the plates is employed in an RC oscillator circuit so as to produce a frequency that is reciprocally related to the capacitance. A neutralizing circuit serves to cancel the effect of stray capacitance, and a digital counting device converts the oscillator frequency to a scaled number indicating the magnitude of the applied force.
Abstract: Printing apparatus including a multi-phase stepping motor having a shaft rotated thereby, and detecting means opto-electronically coupled to the shaft. A printing stylus is mechanically coupled with the shaft such that the shaft drives the stylus along a path. A control circuit coupled with the opto-electronic detecting means correlates signals to the stylus with the position of the shaft.
