  • Publication number: 20220048036
Abstract: A method of processing organics having a relocatable trailer transporting a hopper, an infeed conveyor, an organics separation unit, an organics conveyor, an inorganics waste conveyor, and a control panel between processing locations of organic material. The control panel regulates the operation of the infeed conveyor, the organics separation unit, the organics conveyor and the inorganics waste conveyor. Following completion of processing the components carried on the trailer may be cleaned and the trailer supporting the processing components may be moved to another processing location.

  • Patent number: 11065624
Abstract: A package reducing device includes a hopper having lap over rings, first and second main shafts which traverse the hopper, first and second pipe shafts are secured to the main shafts, where the ends of the pipe shafts are positioned interior to the lap over rings. First and second rings extend from the pipe shafts having recessed openings to position a fastener interior to the surface of the rings. Tooth plates having teeth are attached to the rings. A first motor rotates the one pipe shaft at a first rate and a second motor rotates another pipe shaft at a slower rate of rotation. The pipe shafts are rotated in an inboard direction, and the motors include variable frequency drives. The teeth reduce the size of packaging and food transported inside of the packaging during use of the invention.

  • Patent number: 6713112
Abstract: A particulate capture system having a plurality of high speed rotating paddles for separating particulate from an air stream. The system includes an air circulating chamber within a centrifuge that separates a first portion of particulate trapped within an air stream. The particulate capture system also has a blender section that separates a second portion of particulate trapped within the air stream. The first portion of particulate is separated via circulating air flow. The second portion of particulate is separated via encapsulating the particulate in water. The water encapsulated particles may be recirculated to a cooler or other device where the particulate may be blended with a bulk product being processed.

  • Patent number: 6248156
Abstract: A particulate capture system has an air circulating chamber that separates a first portion of particulates trapped within an air stream. The particulate capture system also has a water injection chamber that separates a second portion of particulates trapped within the air stream. The first portion of particulates is separated via circulating air flow. The second portion of particulates is separated via encapsulating the particulates in water and returning the encapsulated particulates to a cooling chamber where the particulates are blended with a bulk product being processed within the cooling chamber prior to collection of the bulk product.

  • Patent number: 5887808
Abstract: A grinding apparatus optimizes grinding efficiency within the grinding chamber by providing grinding action over a 360.degree. range encompassed by a set of breaker bars and one or more arcuate screening elements. Arcuate screening elements have an inside radius that identically matches the inside radius of the breaker bars. The screening elements act as grinding mechanisms as well as more conventional filtering mechanisms due to increased grinding capacity when the inside radial surface of the screening elements and the inside radial surface defined by the breaker bars are equidistant from the axis of a rotational shaft that supports a plurality of circumferentially spaced hammers.

  • Patent number: 4569497
Abstract: A mounting for adjustably securing a meter to a pipe. The preferred embodiment of the mounting includes a one-piece, unitary saddle member, leveling member, and U-bolt which extends substantially about the pipe and is attached to the saddle member to secure it to the pipe. The saddle member has front and rear portions with the leveling member being mounted to the front portion of the saddle member. The rear portion of the saddle member has two serrated sections extending outwardly of the center of the saddle member and the mounting sits on the pipe with only the leveling member and each of the two sections of the rear portion engaging the pipe. In operation, the saddle member is rotated about the longitudinal axis of the pipe to the desired position and secured in place with the U-bolt.
