Patent number: 11573317Abstract: An augmented reality platform and method for use of the same are provided. In one embodiment, an array of locationing devices determine a perspective value of a physical object within a space based on visual-inertial odometry, radio wave positioning, and acoustic positioning. A server determines a decided value of the physical object based on a plurality of perspective values of the physical object received from the array of locationing devices. A digital map and digital library maintained by the server maintain the location of physical objects and spatial experiential objects in order to provide the spatial experiential object to an augmented reality device.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2021Date of Patent: February 7, 2023Assignee: Scrrd, Inc.Inventors: Lucas Kane Thoresen, Joshua I. Cohen

Patent number: 10721590Abstract: Methods, systems, and techniques for wireless device detection, information, tracking, and authentication within a platform are provided. Example embodiments provide a Wireless Device Detection, Tracking, and Authentication System and methods, which enables users to detect wireless devices, obtain stored information about wireless devices, and authenticate wireless devices for a variety of purposes including determining similarity of devices based upon prior network connections, pinpointing the location of the device, verifying the cryptographic signature of the device, obtaining metadata associated with the device, and controlling the device to perform a particular action such as alerts and notifications. An example WDDTAS platform includes a server, one or more edge sensors communicatively connected to wireless/wired devices with or without software to configure the device to perform as an electronic tag and connected to electronic smart tags, and a persistent data repository.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2019Date of Patent: July 21, 2020Assignee: SCRRD, Inc.Inventors: Lucas Thoresen, Joshua Cohen

Patent number: 10587987Abstract: A wireless device uses a tracking system to determine locations of target devices relative to the wireless device in an environment including one or more target devices. The tracking system receives a signal transmitted by a target device in the environment and performs an angle of arrival operation to determine the angle of arrival of the received signal. The tracking system applies a filter to determine an estimation value for the target device representing a system state for the target device. The tracking system assigns the received signal and corresponding angle of arrival to a track based on the estimation value. The tracking system identifies and removes outlier signals from the track to produce a filtered set of signals. The filtered set of signals is used to compute a point-of-origin vector for the target device for use in interacting and communicating with the target device.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2018Date of Patent: March 10, 2020Assignee: SCRRD, Inc.Inventors: Lucas Thoresen, Joshua Cohen, Joseph D.
