    Abstract: A garment anti-theft device for captively receiving at least one clothes hanger of the type having a hook with a free distal end for receiving a support arm of a garment rack to suspend the hanger therefrom. The garment anti-theft device includes a body having at least one opening therein of a size large enough to receive a free distal end of a hook of a hanger introduced by movement of the hanger free end in a first direction into the opening. A cover is attached to the body for movement selectively between an open position and a securing position. The cover, in its position, allows the free distal end of the hanger to be directed in a first direction into the body opening so that the hanger is supported in an operative position on at least one of the support arm on a clothes rack and the body and out of the opening by movement of the free distal end of the hanger oppositely to the first direction.

    Abstract: A cable lock for securing a cable having a shoulder thereon is provided having a housing and at least one opening in the housing, the opening being dimensioned to receive the cable shoulder therethrough. A cover is mounted for selective movement relative to the housing between a position permitting passage of the cable through the opening to a position preventing passage of the cable through the opening. A tumbler having a movable shaft operatively associated therewith, the shafting being movable independent of the cover is operatively associated with the cover for providing the selective movement of the cover.

    Abstract: A security device for a garment display structure of the type having an elongate rail for supporting a garment/security hanger, with the elongate rail having a free end with a first cross-sectional area taken transversely of the length thereof. The security device has a blocking element removably attached in an operative position adjacent to the free end of an elongate rail on a garment display structure to thereby create an effective cross-sectional area, taken transversely of the length of the elongate rail, that is greater than the first cross-sectional area. With the inventive structure, the blocking element prohibits the passage of certain garments/security hangers, that encircle the elongate rail, over and past the free end of the elongate rail, that could otherwise occur in the absence of the blocking element on the elongate rail.

    Abstract: A universal computer power switch lockout apparatus for permanent restrained affixation upon the exterior surface of the cabinetry of an office computer. The apparatus is positioned at a location immediately adjacent to the computer's on-off switch assembly field without penetrating the cabinetry upon installation thereof, to preclude access, as desired, to the computer's power switch, to in turn prevent unauthorized operation of the computer. A combination of flange members emanate from a mounting bracket which is positioned and adhesively affixed to the computer cabinetry surface surrounding the computer's power switch assembly field. A lockable switch enclosure is telescopically and slidingly mated with the mounting bracket to alternatively provide or restrict access to the computer's power switch enclosed thereunder.

    Abstract: An improved alarm system sensing and triggering apparatus for remote detection of interruptions or alterations in an otherwise closed electrical alarm circuit. Exposed electrodes are embedded together with a substantially deformable current conducting element in a recessed housing cavity. The conducting element is compressable or deformable, momentarily, to an altered shape to activate the alarm system without the need for partially or completely detaching the sensor itself from the article to which it is connected. The recessed cavity together with the exposed electrodes and deformable conducting means cooperate with the sensor housing and alarm system integration conductors and with sensor attachment devices to provide the improved security features.
