Abstract: In some embodiments, a method for processing life science information is provided. A plurality of files are stored in a file data store. Each file of the plurality of files is associated with one or more tags. A plurality of object definitions and a plurality of action definitions are stored. A selection of an object definition of the plurality of object definitions is received. One or more files are retrieved from the file data store that are identified by the selected object definition. A selection of an action definition of the plurality of action definitions is received. An action defined by the selected action definition is performed on the one or more files retrieved from the file data store.
