  • Patent number: 7178025
Abstract: A method of authenticating a user to use a system includes using a provider token to generate a random value. The token generates a derived key based at least in part on a token-provided salt value and a user-provided password. The provider generates a token unlock key based at least in part on the derived key and sends it to the token. First and second challenge data instances are generated by the provider and the token, respectively, and the process is terminated if the challenge data instances are determined not to match. If the challenge data instances are determined to match, then an encrypted data transfer system is established between the token and the provider, and the token unlocks locked private data stored on the token. The user is authenticated for secured use of the system based at least in part on the unlocked private data.

  • Patent number: 6083095
Abstract: An improved nozzle for poultry washer nozzle for insertion into the cavity of an eviscerated poultry. The washer has an axial central tube upon which is mounted a rotatable cylinder as a distal portion and a proximate rib portion spaced from said tube. Orifices between the tube and internally of the cylinder provides cleansing liquid to the inside of the cylinder from which it flows through tangential offices in the cylinder. The proximate rib portion is detailed to center the poultry about the washer.

  • Patent number: 6019674
Abstract: The present invention provides a saline solution containing elongated trough which is mounted at the end portions of four non-electrically conducting posts. The trough has an ingress funnel arrangement designed to restrict the thrashing of to-be-electrically stunned birds and an elongated grid having a portion immersed in the solution and a downstream portion out of the solution. The four posts extend upwardly and terminate in threaded portions. A frame carriage is provided which has four corners and at the four corners are suitably mounted driven gears with internal bores and threads adapted to engagingly rotate about the threaded portions of the posts. The carriage is suitably affixed to a conventional I-beam to which is movingly mounted a conventional endless cable and spaced shackle system for conveying upside down birds.

  • Patent number: 5938519
Abstract: Poultry are thoroughly cleaned after being sequentially treated along a conventional endless poultry line by the post poultry washer of the present invention. The device consists of a two rows of vertical conduits at oppositably disposed positions with vertically staggered spray nozzles. Special detailed three member vertical baffles are positioned in back of the said spray nozzles. The baffles and associated spray nozzles cause a vortex of spray washer water to encircle each fowl that is moved through the post poultry washer apparatus wherein the wash water collectively contact all exposed surfaces of the carcass.
