Abstract: A mail processing machine is described including a recto-verso printer adapted to receive data to be printed and to produce printed documents based on the data, the documents being designed to be enclosed and franked; the processing machine includes a system upstream of the printer to optimize the process for franking the cover by recto-verso printing the documents at will in case a value related to the weight of said documents exceeds a postal threshold.

Abstract: The invention concerns a machine for providing a sealed cover for documents comprising a document conveying table (18) with a general longitudinal shape, arranged upstream of a unit for inserting (20) said documents in an envelope (26), at least a contact member (40, 42) mobile longitudinally, under the action of driving means (76, 82, 84, 88) in the direction of the inserting unit and which is designed to drive the documents on the conveying table, the driving means being distant from the inserting unit. Abstract: A device for receiving documents is described and in one example, a device for stacking media in a mail creation inserter system is described including at least one document support member (30), adapted to receive documents and to be moved along a longitudinal axis by its own weight, and an actuator member (32) for allowing said support to move, placed on the path of movement of the documents and adapted to move between a first or blocking position preventing longitudinal movement of said support and a second or released position allowing longitudinal displacement thereof, movement from the first position to the second position being triggered by the contact of at least one document (36) with said actuator member.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of printing and preparing mail from a data stream distributed in several pages which are intended to be printed on sheets and enveloped, the number of sheets contained in an envelope being able to vary from one envelope to another, characterized in that the method comprises the following steps: selecting from amongst the data stream at least one identification criterion for the various pages intended to be contained in each envelope, analyzing the data stream according to said at least one identification criterion in order to identify, for each envelope, the pages concerned, printing the pages on sheets, enveloping the sheets on which the pages are printed according to the result of the identification, for each envelope, of the pages concerned.

Abstract: The invention concerns an electronic franking machine comprising franking means and means for recording the number of franking operations. It comprises means for connection via a computerized communication network, to a central server of a computerized central control center, and means forming a computerized server adapted to transmit and receive computerized requests and responses for performing transactions with the central server, said transactions being selected among at least a resetting of the means recording the franking operations, a transfer of files constituting the records of the recording means and a franking cycle.

Abstract: A inkjet printer cartridge is described including at least one print head for printing data on a support, wherein a thin printed circuit is permanently fixed to the printer cartridge and a miniature data processing unit fixed to the printed circuit analyzes a stream of printing commands for controlling the print head to authenticate the data to be printed on the support.
