Abstract: Disclosed is a messaging system that can be used with either a locked or unlocked container to indicate an elapsed time, such as an elapsed time for taking medication, unauthorized movement, or opening of the container. A capsule placed in the container communicates to an application that may generate alerts for vial openings, failure to open vial when medication due, pilfering or unauthorized movement. A battery in the capsule can be recharged through contacts or induction charging. Various types of sensors can be used in the capsule, including pressure sensors, light sensors, an accelerometer, a capacitive sensor, and a conductive sensor.
Abstract: Disclosed is an encoding tool used to encode a programmable combination locking cap. The encoding tools disclosed have an angled blade and alignment mechanisms so that a combination cap is easily encoded and placed on a container that optionally has an angled blocker so that the angled blocked efficiently blocks the combination of the programmable combination locking cap.
Abstract: Disclosed is a bottle having a programmable combination locking cap. The locking cap has an upper cap, which locks onto a canister. The locking cap has various layers of rings so that the rings can be aligned in a combination code in order to remove the locked cap from the canister.
