    Abstract: A stake-cable system for securing wheeled trash bins and lids thereof is provided. The stake-cable system includes a cable connecting an object attachment point associated with the bin or lid and an anchor attachment point affixed to or adjacent to the ground. The stake-cable system also includes quick-release interconnectors between the attachment points and the cable, which may terminate in opposing loops to facilitate such quick-release interconnections.
