  • Patent number: 11841017
Abstract: An eccentric screw pump has a stator, a rotor rotating in the stator, a drive, and a pump housing connected to the stator and having at least one inlet or outlet opening for a medium to be conveyed. A connecting shaft driven by the drive rotates concentrically with an axis, and a connecting housing connected between the pump housing and the drive at least partially surrounds the connecting shaft. A coupling-side shaft seal lies between the connecting shaft and the connecting housing, and a coupling rod in the pump housing is connected to the connecting shaft at a drive-side end and to the rotor at a rotor-side end thereof and generating eccentric movement of the rotor-side end on concentric rotation of the connecting shaft. A sensor is mounted in or on the connecting housing adjacent the connecting shaft for detecting or measuring deviation from axially concentric rotation thereof.

  • Patent number: 11441560
Abstract: A pump housing (4) for an eccentric screw pump, comprising a housing casing (5) extending along a housing longitudinal axis (L), a first end-face opening (6), to which a shaft seal (7) for a connection shaft (8) can be connected, and a second end-face opening (10), to which a stator (I) can be connected, and comprising a tubular inlet nozzle (11), oriented transversely to the housing longitudinal axis (L), for feeding a medium that is to be conveyed, which inlet nozzle is connected to the housing casing (5) tangentially, offset in relation to the housing longitudinal axis (L). The geometry of the inlet nozzle (11) is designed in such a way that, as the medium flows into the housing interior through the inlet nozzle (II), a flow (S) is generated which has a radial direction component (RI) directed away outwardly from the housing longitudinal axis (L) and/or an axial direction component (R2) directed towards the first end-face opening (6).

  • Patent number: 11326595
Abstract: An eccentric screw pump has a stator, a rotor in the stator, a drive for the rotor, and a pump housing between the stator and the drive and having an opening between for receiving the medium being pumped. A releasable drive-end coupling connects a connecting shaft of the drive to a coupling rod, and a rotor-end releasably connects the coupling rod to the rotor at a separation point. A rotor stub connects the rotor to the rotor-end coupling and is separable from the rotor at the separation point. A drive-end housing collar secures the pump housing to the drive. A rotor-end housing collar has a fixed first element fixed relative to the pump housing and an axially displaceable second element that is releasably fixable to the stator and that can be pushed axially toward the housing opening of the pump housing onto the first element to expose the separation point.

  • Patent number: 10717612
Abstract: A system for conveying pasty material through a conduit has an eccentric screw pump having a stator, a rotor that rotates in the stator, a housing with an intake port, and an output port connected to the conduit. A drive rotates the rotor and thereby draws the pasty material in through the intake port and expels the drawn-in material as a compressed-material strand into the conduit. A valve supplies gas pulses to the conduit at time intervals for separating the compressed-material strand into material plugs of limited length traveling through the conduit.

  • Patent number: 10648337
Abstract: The invention relates to an eccentric screw pump, comprising at least one stator (1) composed of an elastic material and a rotor (2) that can be rotated in the stator (1), the stator (1) being surrounded by a stator casing (3) at least in some regions. The stator casing (3) consists of at least two casing segments (19) as a longitudinally divided casing and forms a stator clamping device, by means of which the stator (2) can be clamped against the rotor (1) in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 10161397
Abstract: An eccentric screw pump has at least one stator of elastic material and extending along an axis, a rotor rotatable about the axis in the stator, and an axially split stator housing at least partially surrounding the stator and, formed by at least two housing segments. A stator-clamping device presses the housing segments radially against the stator and thereby presses the stator against the rotor. It has one or more movable adjusting elements that bear radially inward on the housing segments for radially adjusting and clamping the stator and one or more actuators connected or provided with the adjusting elements for automatically positioning the housing segments.

  • Patent number: 8764420
Abstract: An eccentric-screw pump has an axially split stator having axially opposite intake and output ends and an elastomeric liner defining an axially throughgoing passage. Respective intake and output housings are releasably secured to the intake and output ends of the stator. An axially extending screw rotor in the passage has an end in the intake housing. A drive includes a rotatable universal joint having a pair of relatively swivelable parts in the intake housing. Respective generally complementary formations on the end of the rotor and on one of the universal-joint parts can fit axially together to rotationally couple the one universal-joint part with the rotor. A latch secures the formations axially together for angular force transmission between the one universal-joint part and the rotor.
