  • Patent number: 8129013
Abstract: There is provided a human-body aimed spacer for restricting rugged feeling, which is flexible and light-weighted and requires only a smaller storage space. The spacer comprises a number of convex parts 20, and flexible connecting portions 26. The convex parts 20 each comprises: a frame-like portion 21 formed at a side contacting with a human body; four column portions 22, each having one end continuing to the frame-like portion, and each being formed to rise from the frame-like portion; and a rising-portion integrator 23 for interconnecting the other ends of the column portions 22 with one another. The flexible connecting portions 26 each interconnect adjacent ones of the frame-like portions 21 with each other. The spacer is configured to contact with a human body at the side where the frame-like portions 21 are formed, and to abut on a cushion or the like at the side where the rising-portion integrators are formed.

Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an air-conditioning garment capable of expanding a range in which a physiological cooler function originally included in a human body is effectively exercised, with a small power consumption in accordance with an individual difference or an intended use of a wearer. This air-conditioning garment is provided with a clothing material portion 20 which guides air along a surface of a body in a space between itself and the body, three air circulating portions 40, 40 and 40 which take air flowing in the space between the clothing material portion 20 and the body to the outside, two air sending means 50 and 50 for forcibly generating a flow of air in the space between the clothing material portion 20 and the body, and power supplying means 61 for supplying power to the air sending means 50 and 50. The air sending means 50 and 50 take outside air into the clothing material portion 20, and generate air flowing with a flow quantity of 6 liters/second.

  • Publication number: 20060112826
Abstract: The invention provides a dehumidifier air passage being capable of providing a sufficient effect of dehumidification and being excellent in mass productivity. A dehumidifier air passage 10 is used in a dehumidifier for removing moisture by making the outside air flow in the vicinity of the surface of a human body and the like, and comprises a nearly flat spacer 11 and a moisture transmittable sheet 21. The spacer 11 is used for supporting the moisture transmittable sheet 21 and securing a space through which air flows, and has a nearly flat base 15 and a plurality of long and narrow projections 16. Each of the projections 16 is formed so that the face of it facing the moisture transmittable sheet 21 is at most 50% in area of the face being in contact with the base 15. A foamed plastic material is used as a material for the spacer 11. The spacer 11 is manufactured by cutting a foamed plastic material or by molding a foamed plastic material.

  • Patent number: 6779592
Abstract: A futon has cooling flow passages that are provided in a substantially parallel and planar manner. Air at a temperature lower than the body temperature is blown through the cooling flow passages substantially parallel to the body surface of a person lying on the futon. As a result, the temperature gradient near the body surface is increased so as to release heat from the body, resulting in a feeling of coolness.

  • Patent number: 6619382
Abstract: The present invention provides a cooling device aimed spacer capable of flowing a lot of gas even by a lower pressure. Such a cooling device aimed spacer is used to form a cooling flow passage of a cooling device. The “cooling device” is to cool a user's body by flowing, by blowing means, a gas through a substantially flat flow passage formed at that side of the cooling device which contacts with the user's body. The cooling device aimed spacer comprises: a plurality of column-shaped members 32a each having a length component in the thickness direction of the cooling flow passage, and a plurality of connecting members 33a for connecting the tip ends of the plurality of column-shaped members 32a. The plurality of column-shaped members 32a are integrally formed to become physically continuous via base member 35. Further, the width of each of the column-shaped members 32a along a direction perpendicular to the gas-flowing direction is in a range of 0.

  • Patent number: 6222181
Abstract: A position measuring apparatus consists of light receiving means in which a plurality of light receiving devices linearly arranged at an equal interval in the one-dimensional case are grouped so that each group includes the same number of light receiving devices and light source means for radiating light on this light receiving means. A single light source system, a plural light source system, a slight difference system, an interference system and an interference slight difference system which are respectively different in the constitution of this light source means are provided. Signals output from grouped corresponding light receiving devices in the respective groups are added and the periodic function is obtained by arranging this added result at an equal interval. The relative position of light receiving means and light source means in actual space can be precisely obtained by calculating the phase of this periodic function.
