Abstract: An image processing system which allows a variety of different types of split-screen image data, including window displays, to be generated. The image processing system of the present invention further can display windows of various shapes to ensure diversified use of display screens. The image processing system also enables various types of movement and rotation transformation as well as scaling transformation to be performed while reducing the calculation load on the CPU.
Abstract: The image processing system according to this invention is very practical, because it allows a variety types of split-screen image data, including window displays, to be generated. In addition, the image processing system according to this invention, which can display windows of various shapes, ensures diversified use of display screens. This invention also enables various types of movement and rotation transformation and scaling transformation while reducing the calculation load on the CPU.
Abstract: A video game cabinet has an identical configuration on opposite sides. That is, each side has a video monitor display for displaying the contents of a game and an operation panel for entering player instructions for operating the game. Each side also has a speaker for generating effect sounds for the game play as well as a coin slot. Each side has a second display for showing a winner indication that is displayed when the player has continuously won the game, a third display for displaying the current number of wins, and a fourth display for maintaining/updating and displaying the maximum number of wins over a specified time period. A removable game processing circuit can execute the game play and drive the first display. A display control circuit can independently drive the second, third, and fourth display.
Abstract: An electronic book which can store, in a ROM, a computer program, is integrated with graphic and textual material on a series of pages. Various input devices such as a finger, a light pen, a touch pen, etc. can be utilized with a sensing circuit combined with the page for inputting data into the computer system. The computer system can display this information in both an audio and visual manner.
Abstract: A head-mounted image display comprising a housing for covering both the eyes of the user, a support for mounting the housing on the head of the user, an image light emitting unit provided at a predetermined position in the housing for emitting image light, a pair of right and left convex lenses provided at both the eyes in the housing for enlarging the image produced by the image light emitting means, and an optical system provided within the housing for guiding the image appearing on the image light emitting unit to the pair of right and left convex lenses.
Abstract: A video entertainment system adapter unit is provided for use on a video entertainment system, such as video game machines, to increase the processing power and complexity of the video images. The adapter unit includes at least a computer for generating image data and a video display processor for controlling display images from the image data generated. An interface is provided for connecting the adapter computer with the video entertainment computer, while a priority circuit permits comparing the priority of a display image from the video entertainment system with the priority of a display image from the adapter on a pixel basis, and an image selection circuit can select from the respective display images in accordance with the priority to provide a corresponding video display.
Abstract: A tilting member has a force bearing portion to which operating force is applied, and a supported surface. A supporting member has a supporting projection with which the supported surface of the tilting member may come in contact. When the operating force is applied to the tilting member, the tilting member tilts with respect to the supporting member. The supporting member supports the tilting member at a supporting point where the supporting projection of the supporting member is in contact with the supported surface of the tilting member, about which supporting point the tilting member tilts. The tilting of the tilting member, with respect to the supporting member, establishes a predetermined electrical contact.
