  • Patent number: 7733582
Abstract: An imaging lens enables a large focal depth and low error sensitivity. The imaging lens satisfies “0.016<?/f<0.018,” where ? is the absolute value of longitudinal chromatic aberrations at F curve and C curve wavelengths, and f is the combined focal distance of the entire compound imaging lens. A first, a second, and a third lens are disposed sequentially, the first lens disposed toward an object, and the third lens disposed toward an image surface. The first lens has a positive refraction, a meniscus shape, and a convex surface facing the object. The second lens has a meniscus shape with a concave surface facing the object. The third lens has a convex-type shape facing the object; and a concave-type aspherical shape facing the image surface, providing a negative refraction in a radially central portion and a positive refraction in a radially peripheral portion.

  • Publication number: 20100107561
Abstract: A controller that controls a registered mark sensor stores, in a storing unit, a registered mark setting (239) which indicates a setting of the detecting sensitivity of the registered mark sensor in association with a bar code number (231). Upon reception of the bar code number (231) from a bar code reader, the controller reads out the registered mark setting (239) associated with the bar code number (231). Then the controller sets the registered mark sensor to the detecting sensitivity associated with the registered mark setting (239) thus read out.

  • Publication number: 20100103542
Abstract: A focusing device of simple construction that is miniaturizable, and an imaging device utilizing the same, are provided. A focusing device (10) comprises an actuator (11), a lens holder (12) that holds lenses (13a) and (13b), and a holder support base (14) upon which the lens holder (12) is installed. The actuator (11) comprises a polymer layer (51), a positive electrode (52) that is formed upon the holder support base (14), and a negative electrode (53) that is formed upon the lens holder (12). When the applied voltage between the positive electrode (52) and the negative electrode (53) rises, the polymer layer (51) deforms radially outward along the positive electrode (52). Along with this deformation of the polymer layer (51), the actuator (11) moves the lens holder (12) along the optical axis.

  • Patent number: 7675822
Abstract: A clock device is held by a moving body, and receives a modulated wave from two electromagnetic fields generated by an antenna formed in a predetermined shape and disposed on a path. The clock device demodulates the modulated wave and acquires unique identification information. The clock device determines a non-detection period after the identification information is acquired. The clock device acquires a reference time corresponding to a middle of the non-detection period, and specifies the acquired reference time as a pass time when the moving body has passed through a point where the antenna is disposed.
