In a slab or stripline laser that contains two electrodes (1, 26) and two resonator mirrors (2, 3), the electrodes (1, 26) are executed shape-stable and the mirrors (2, 3) and a second electrode (26) are secured to and carried by the first electrode (1). The invention is suitable for compact stripline lasers.
