    Abstract: An oxide superconductor having a composition of the formula: A.sub.n+1 Cu.sub.n O.sub.2n+1+.delta. in which A is at least one alkaline earth metal element selected from the group consisting of calcium, strontium and barium, n is an integer of at least one, and .delta. is a number larger than 0 and not larger than 1, a laminate structure in which a layer having a partial composition of A.sub.2 O.sub.1+.delta. and a layer having a partial composition of A.sub.n-1 Cu.sub.n O.sub.2n are alternately laminated, and a superconductive critical temperature equal to or higher than the liquid nitrogen temperature.

    Abstract: The present invention covers 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid zinc complex compound as represented by the formula [I]: ##STR1## as well as a process for producing the same, and an anti-hepatitis agent, liver function improving agent and anti-ulcer agent. As compared with 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid, glutathione and glycyrrhizin, the compound (I) of the present invention exhibits improved anti-hepatitis activity, and also strengthens detoxicating activity toward various compounds to thereby develop liver function improving activity, while the said compound shows excellent anti-ulcer activity but greatly lowered toxicity.

The element is useful as a magnetoresistance sensor or head.

    Abstract: A process for forming a single crystal superconducting LnA.sub.2 Cu.sub.3 O.sub.7-x film, wherein Ln is at least one rare earth element and A is at least one alkaline earth element, is disclosed, which comprises simultaneously evaporating Ln, A and Cu in an atomic ratio of about 1:2:3 from discrete evaporation sources of Ln, A and Cu onto a heated substrate in a vacuum vessel while blowing an oxygen gas onto the substrate to form an oxygen-containing atmosphere, thereby forming the single crystal superconducting film on the substrate.
