  • Patent number: 10794299
Abstract: A variable exhaust valve assembly for a vehicle includes an exhaust housing, a power transmission device that transmits rotational power, a shaft that extends through the exhaust housing and is coupled with a valve so as to open and close the exhaust housing, and a heat shielding unit to reduce heat transfer between the power transmission device and the exhaust housing. The power transmission device is configured to regulate an opening degree of the valve. The variable exhaust valve assembly is improved in durability by minimizing damage to power transmission caused by high-temperature heat of exhaust gas, and reducing vibration transmitted to the power transmission device.

  • Patent number: 10044143
Abstract: A single multi-functional position holder is positioned in a receiving space of a housing to implement multiple functions of: satisfying a limitation on the height of a connector by making contact with an insertion portion and a concentric mounting portion of a connector assembly assembled through a curling process; increasing durability to absorb an internal load attributable to the curling process, by making tight contact with the housing; and preventing shaking of a PCB assembly due to a disturbance by restricting the PCB assembly to hold a PCB, thereby reducing the number of component parts of the connector, the process steps, and the cost. In particular, the multi-functional position holder is fixed in the housing without welding so that it is possible to remove a welding process from an assembling process of the connector.

  • Patent number: 9115619
Abstract: A thermoelectric generator of a vehicle converts thermal energy of exhaust gas of an engine into electric energy by using a thermoelectric phenomenon, and may include: a high-temperature part heated by exchange heat and a plurality of pairs of heat transfer plates mounted on an outer peripheral surface of an exhaust pipe at a predetermined interval; pairs of thermoelectric modules acquired by bonding a P-type semiconductor and an N-type semiconductor, interposed between the pairs of heat transfer plates to generate electricity, and electrically connected to each other; and a low-temperature part interposed between the pairs of thermoelectric modules and cooling inner surfaces of the pairs of thermoelectric modules. The plurality of thermoelectric modules generates electricity by a difference in temperature between heated outer surfaces and cooled inner surfaces. Thermoelectric efficiency is improved and a small-sized thermoelectric generator of a vehicle may be implemented.
