Abstract: Provided are a method for producing an organic substance and an apparatus for producing an organic substance that are capable of efficiently cooling a synthesis gas and converting the synthesis gas to an organic substance at a high conversion efficiency using a microbial catalyst. A method for producing an organic substance includes a step of passing a synthesis gas G1 discharged from a gasifier 2 through a heat exchanger 20 to cool the synthesis gas G1, a step of passing the synthesis gas G1 cooled with the heat exchanger 20 through a gas cooling tower 21 to cool the synthesis gas G1 with water sprayed in the gas cooling tower 21 and a step of bringing the synthesis gas G1 that has passed through at least the heat exchanger 20 and the gas cooling tower 21 into contact with a microbial catalyst to generate an organic substance.
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide an adhesive composition that can exhibit excellent adhesion to both smooth surfaces and rough surfaces. The present invention also aims to provide an adhesive tape including an adhesive layer containing the adhesive composition, as well as a method for fixing and a method for producing an electronic device component or an in-vehicle component using the adhesive tape. Provided is an adhesive composition containing an acrylic copolymer containing a structural unit derived from n-heptyl (meth)acrylate.

Abstract: A pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising a polymer (X1) containing 48% by mass or more of a constituent unit derived from at least one monomer (Y) selected from the group consisting of a monomer (A1) represented by the following general formula (1) and a monomer (B1) represented by the following general formula (2), in which a tan ? (23° C.) determined as G? (23° C.)/G? (23° C.) is 0.8 to 1.3, wherein a storage elastic modulus and a loss coefficient at 23° C. are respectively represented by G? (23° C.) and G? (23° C.). In the formula (1), R1 represents H or CH3, R2 represents —CnH2n+1 and n represents an integer of 7 to 14. In the formula (2), R3 represents —C(?O)CmH2m+1 and m represents an integer of 7 to 13. Thus, retention force under high temperature, low-temperature attachability, and adhesiveness to a low-polar adherend are favorable along with a high bio rate.

Abstract: Provided is an interlayer film for laminated glass capable of suppressing double images, and making the moisture resistance of the laminated glass exposed to high temperature and high humidity uniform at one end and the other end of the interlayer film. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention is an interlayer film for laminated glass, being wedge-like shaped and containing an amphiphile or a surfactant, and when a high temperature and high humidity test for laminated glass is executed, a whitening distance at the one end and the other end of the interlayer film is 15 mm or less, and when a whitening distance at the one end of the interlayer film is more than 0 mm, a value of (whitening distance at the other end of the interlayer film×thickness of the other end of the interlayer film)/(whitening distance at the one end of the interlayer film×thickness of the one end of the interlayer film) is 0.70 or more.
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide an interlayer film for laminated glass which, while having recesses in the shape of engraved lines, enables the production of a laminated glass with high production efficiency by a nip roll method; a roll of the interlayer film for laminated glass; a laminated glass including the interlayer film for laminated glass; and a method of producing laminated glass. The present invention relates to an interlayer film for laminated glass. The interlayer film includes, on at least one surface thereof, a large number of recesses and a large number of projections. The recesses have a groove shape with a continuous bottom. The recesses are adjacently arranged regularly side by side in parallel with one another. The recesses in a groove shape with a continuous bottom are inclined 55° or less relative to the machine direction of the film in production of the interlayer film for laminated glass.
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a masterbatch for foam molding which can be suitably used in molding involving high shear force or molding requiring low molding temperature and which can provide a foam molded article having a high expansion ratio and good appearance quality. The present invention also aims to provide a foam molded article formed from the masterbatch for foam molding. Provided is a masterbatch for foam molding, containing: a base resin; and a thermally expandable microcapsule, the masterbatch having a true specific gravity of 0.80 g/cm3 or more and a Mooney viscosity ML 1+4 (100° C.) of 20 to 90, the base resin containing an EPDM resin, the masterbatch containing the thermally expandable microcapsule in an amount of 40 to 300 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the base resin.

The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention contains a thermoplastic resin and a heat shielding compound and has one end and the other end being at the opposite side of the one end and having a thickness thicker than the one end, the absolute value of a difference between the thickness of a thickest portion and the thickness of a thinnest portion is 0.1 mm or more, and in a sheet of laminated glass prepared by sandwiching the interlayer film between two sheets of heat ray-absorbing plate glass with a thickness of 2.1 mm, the absolute value of a difference between the visible light transmittance at the thickest portion of the interlayer film and the visible light transmittance at the thinnest portion of the interlayer film is 4% or less.
