Patents Assigned to SELENIUM MEDICAL
  • Patent number: 11931190
Abstract: A device for holding and releasing an object (2), such as a medical implant, is proposed. The device comprises two hook systems (11, 12) to which said object (2) is able to be coupled so as to allow said hook systems (11, 12) to jointly hold said object (2). Said hook systems (11, 12) are configured such that, in the state in which said object (2) is coupled to said hook systems (11, 12), at least one of the hook systems (11, 12) is subjected to a return force (F11, F12) that makes it possible to keep the object (2) coupled to said hook systems (11, 12). Also proposed are a corresponding assembly and a corresponding releasing method.

  • Patent number: 11806172
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for packaging an object, comprising: a main hollow body (100), a closure element (101), and a support (110) housed inside the main hollow body (100), said support being configured to receive an object (150), such as a medical implant. The support comprises a seat having an axial through-hole designed to allow part (170) of the object (150) to extend below the seat, while another part (160) of the object (150) bears on the seat. The packaging device is configured to limit or block the rotation of the support (110) relative to the main hollow body (100) about the axis of the through-hole in the seat. The support (110) is designed to limit or block the rotation of at least part of the object (150) about said axis, whereby the object (150) can move freely out of the main hollow body (100) when the closure element (101) is open. The invention also relates to a corresponding extraction method.

  • Patent number: 11453173
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and process of the sealing of an area of an object intended to be covered, such as an opening slot, by a sealing strip which becomes adhesive in an excited state when subjected to ultrasound. This procedure comprises the steps of: supplying a sealing strip between an object and a sonotrode having a linear application area; supporting or pressing the linear application area of the sonotrode with the sealing strip to thereby adhere the sealing strip area, which is in contact with the linear application area of the sonotrode, to a corresponding area of the object; and displacing the object in relation to the sonotrode according to a profile of the sealing area, so as to apply the sealing strip to the sealing area of the object.
