Abstract: A system and method for facilitating personal development using a computing device. The method includes generating a machine-readable foundation profile by performing sub-steps including querying a user through a user interface module and providing a user access to an education module and a discovery module. The sub-steps include storing answers to queries in association with a user. The method also includes guiding a user through a process of issue resolution by querying a user in regards to a specific situation and teaching a user in regards to taking responsibility for their feelings and/or behavior. The sub-steps include teaching a user about having an intent to learn and managing an inner guidance dialogue within the user. The method further includes facilitating a user taking action by displaying an intended action from the action profile, and teaching the user how to productively take action and facilitating self-evaluation by the user.
