Abstract: A liquid dispenser is described, having a tank configured to deliver and present a liquid in a drink basin within a tray base. The liquid may be a liquid bait for population control of small animals. To reduce evaporation and liquid waste, the tray base may be partially covered by a tray top. A spill basin may surround the drink basin, and may be configured so that tilting or inverting the liquid dispenser drains a liquid from the spill basin and drink basin back into the tank.

Abstract: A bait insert including a tank filled with a liquid bait having a discharge port, a tray top having an engagement port, and a drinking area, wherein the engagement port engages with the discharge port of the tank, and a tray base sealed to the tray top, wherein the tray base includes a plurality of troughs forming an internal flow paths for the liquid bait to flow from the tank to drinking area of the tray top. Further in one embodiment, a bait insert with a spiked tray base having a spike integral to the spiked tray base configured to pierce a foil of a sealed tank is described.
