Publication number: 20230184682Abstract: Detection systems and methods of use thereof, and, in particular, hyperspectral fluorescence systems and methods for detecting aerosolized viral biologics and/or carcinogenic compounds or elements. The system utilizes, and the method is, a non-invasive, immediate, and non-biohazard byproduct method (with the actual imaging to determination generally occurring in less than 3 seconds) with a throughput of the station in around ten seconds (which is allowing for sanitization of the station before and after each individual is tested).Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2021Publication date: June 15, 2023Applicant: Enterprise Sensor Systems, LLCInventors: Alfred W. Patent number: 8819979Abstract: A remote valuable and/or gun monitoring system and method are disclosed. A module incorporating a motion sensor is interconnected to a valuable or gun. The motion sensor generates a motion signal if movement is detected. The motion signal can be passed to a communication device associated with the valuable or gun owner by a network. Remote locking/unlocking of a trigger lock provided as part of the module interconnected to a gun can also be supported.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 2013Date of Patent: September 2, 2014Assignee: Sensor Systems, LLCInventor: Jason L. Publication number: 20090143157Abstract: A golf alignment device includes an emitter assembly having an emitter portion for emitting radiant energy and at least one lens portion for projecting the radiant energy onto a surface with a predetermined pattern. The predetermined pattern includes an illuminated golf ball alignment mark, an illuminated first foot alignment mark and an illuminated second foot alignment mark for indicating placement of the golfer's feet with respect to the golf ball. A fourth alignment mark intersects the golf ball and is in alignment with a distant target. Different lens portions may be provided with different projection patterns for use with different golf clubs and/or golfer's of different heights.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2007Publication date: June 4, 2009Applicant: OPTI SENSOR SYSTEMS, LLCInventors: Herbert G. Patent number: 7259383Abstract: An optical transducer for determining the presence or absence of liquid or the like in a reservoir includes a housing with a hollow interior and an optical probe that extends through the housing. The optical probe has a central axis, a proximal end positioned in the hollow interior and a distal end positioned outside of the housing. The distal end has first and second measurement surfaces that intersect at a transverse edge. The transverse edge extends at an acute angle with respect to the central axis. A light source is arranged for projecting radiant energy into the optical probe toward the distal end. A photosensor is arranged for detecting radiant energy reflected from the distal end to thereby detect the presence and absence of liquid on the optical probe.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2004Date of Patent: August 21, 2007Assignee: Opti Sensor Systems, LLCInventor: Alvin R. Wirthlin

Patent number: 7161165Abstract: An optical transducer for determining liquid level within a container includes a sensing probe having a first elongate measurement face and a second elongate measurement face that converges toward the first measurement face. A light source is positioned for directing radiant energy into the sensing probe and a photosensor is positioned for detecting an amount of radiant energy exiting the sensing probe. With this arrangement, a change in the amount of radiant energy as detected by the photosensor is indicative of a change in liquid level within the container.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2004Date of Patent: January 9, 2007Assignee: Opti Sensor Systems, LLCInventor: Alvin R. Wirthlin

Patent number: 7109512Abstract: An optical transducer for determining the presence or absence of liquid or the like in a reservoir includes an electrical circuit with a pulse generator and processing electronics to filter out ambient light and compensate for temperature changes. A comparator circuit portion includes a pair of comparators that simultaneously output high and low signals when in the presence of liquid. One of the outputs can be selected to drive an indicator, pump, relay or the like.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2004Date of Patent: September 19, 2006Assignee: Opti Sensor Systems, LLCInventor: Alvin R. Patent number: 6952657Abstract: A method and system for use in monitoring/evaluating industrial processes such as, for example, plasma processes are provided. In one embodiment, a plasma process fault detection module (100) includes multiple sub-modules. A data selection sub-module (101) obtains selected optical emissions spectra (OES) data for each wafer that is processed. A model building/updating sub-module (102) constructs multiple models from the OES data for a number of wafers. A principal component analysis (PCA) analysis sub-module (103) utilizes PCA techniques to determine whether the OES data for a particular wafer differs significantly from an expected normal wafer as represented by the models. A model maintenance sub-module (104) saves and retrieves models for different processes, associating the current wafer with the correct process. A wafer categorization sub-module (105) categorizes each wafer based on a scalar metric characterizing the residual spectrum vector. A data output sub-module (106) outputs the results to a user.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2003Date of Patent: October 4, 2005Assignee: Peak Sensor Systems LLCInventors: Gary L. Patent number: 6769288Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and assembly for leak detection in a plasma system. The invention can accomplish not only leak detection, but also leak location while maintaining a plasma within the plasma system. Leak detection for the invention is achieved by obtaining spectral data of the plasma at one or more times while maintaining the plasma within the plasma system and comparing the same to predetermined spectral data of air. Upon a determination that air is present within the plasma system, one or more external surfaces of the plasma system are exposed to a test gas and the spectral data of the plasma is analyzed after each exposure to determine if the test gas is present in the system. If the test gas is present, a determination can be made that the particular external surface to which the test gas was applied is a leak location.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 2002Date of Patent: August 3, 2004Assignee: Peak Sensor Systems LLCInventors: Pamela Peardon Denise Ward, Joel O'Don Stevenson, Michael Lane Smith, Jr.
