Abstract: Example embodiments are disclosed for receiving dispensation data corresponding to dispensation of a drug associated with a covered entity, mapping a proprietary code to a standardized drug identification code for the drug, retrieving an audit record based on the standardized code, wherein the audit record identifies an order quantity of the drug ordered by the covered entity using a pricing account, allocating the dispensed quantity of the drug to the audit record up to an amount that equals but does not exceed the order quantity, applying a reorder rule to calculate when to reorder the drug, and subsequent to determining to reorder the drug in response to applying the reorder rule, communicating to a distributor an order message comprising the order quantity and the standardized code of the drug to reorder the drug using the pricing account and for causing the distributor to ship the drug.

Abstract: The example embodiments may relate to systems, methods, apparatuses, devices, and computer readable media for collecting and presenting information at the patient encounter level. The example embodiments may include processing an encounter detail file associated with treatment a healthcare provider provided to a patient during a patient encounter, generating a linkage that links the encounter detail file with at least one other file associated with the patient encounter, and storing the linkage in a longitudinal patient administration record. The example embodiments may further include processing the longitudinal patient administration record to determine a metric and select an item based on the metric, and generating and communicating an order to a supplier for the selected item to cause delivery of the selected item to a desired location.

Abstract: The example embodiments may relate to retrieving a plurality of cost of care records identifying costs to treat a plurality of patients diagnosed with a particular ailment, wherein each of the cost of care records indicates a cost to treat one of the patients using a selected one of a plurality of treatment modalities, wherein each of the treatment modalities identifies at least one of a drug and a supply item. The example embodiments may further relate to processing the cost of care records for determining at least one factor for each of the treatment modalities, determining a performance index for each of the treatment modalities that is a weighted function of the at least one factor, selecting one of the treatment modalities based on the performance indices, and automatically ordering at least one of a drug and a supply item identified in the selected treatment modality for delivery to a health care provider.

Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method are disclosed for account reconciliation based on dispensing medication under a drug discount program. The example embodiments may include receiving prescription claims that each identify a first medication being dispensed and an amount being dispensed. The example embodiments may further include identifying a subset of the prescription claims that are eligible for a drug discount program, aggregating the dispensation amounts to determine an aggregate amount of the first medication dispensed, instructing a distributor to credit a drug discount account of a covered entity in response to determining that the aggregate amount meets a dispensation requirement, and instructing a distributor to ship an amount of the first medication to a contract pharmacy.

Abstract: Example embodiments of a system, apparatus, computer readable media, and method are disclosed for improving clinical and financial outcomes for a healthcare provider The example embodiments may be used for aggregating data corresponding to care for a group of patients by at least one healthcare provider, generating a statistical model based on the aggregated data, periodically determining a current value for the treatment parameter associated with care of a patient provided by a healthcare provider, and causing treatment to be administered to the patient in response to applying the statistical model to determine that the current value for the treatment parameter is associated with an adverse outcome.
