  • Patent number: 10929735
Abstract: In some embodiments, a smart card may include a substrate with a first side and a second side. A first protective layer covers the first side and a second protective layer covers the second side of the substrate. Circuitry held in the substrate includes electronic interconnects for interconnecting circuitry elements. The circuitry elements include a processor, power circuitry for powering the circuitry elements, and an environmental detection sensor for respectively detecting a predetermined environmental parameter. The processor is configured to receive an output from the environmental detection sensor, to determine from the output that the environmental detection sensor detected an environmental alert trigger condition, and to generate an alert that is representative of the environmental alert trigger condition. The protective layers include pores in a region proximate to the environmental detection sensor for exposing the environmental detection sensor to an environment around the smart card.

  • Patent number: 10929278
Abstract: Techniques for monitoring operating statuses of an application and its dependencies are provided. A monitoring application may collect and report the operating status of the monitored application and each dependency. Through use of existing monitoring interfaces, the monitoring application can collect operating status without requiring modification of the underlying monitored application or dependencies. The monitoring application may determine a problem service that is a root cause of an unhealthy state of the monitored application. Dependency analyzer and discovery crawler techniques may automatically configure and update the monitoring application. Machine learning techniques may be used to determine patterns of performance based on system state information associated with performance events and provide health reports relative to a baseline status of the monitored application. Also provided are techniques for testing a response of the monitored application through modifications to API calls.

  • Patent number: 10932169
Abstract: Mobile nodes communicating in direct mode (DM) may be compelled, due to their mobility pattern, to switch to infrastructure mode (IM) via conventional uplink/downlink through base station (eNB) to maintain best possible link-quality. When mobile nodes move away from each other, Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) may degrade over D2D link, side link (SL), and eNB is forced to re-schedule nodes to IM, incurring additional delay and potential loss of packets in transit. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods that uses information such as flow size, transport layer type, bandwidth and RTT to determine whether request initiated by a mobile node for communication with another mobile node is of a particular transfer flow type and based on the request type (i) DM is enabled for communication or (ii) DM mode is disabled and initiates, within the mobile node, request to activate IM mode for communication.

  • Patent number: 10930286
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to a method and system for muting of classified information from an audio using a fuzzy approach. The method comprises converting the received audio signal into text using a speech recognition engine to identify a plurality of classified words from the text to obtain a first set of parameters. Further, a plurality of subwords associated with each classified word are identified to obtain a second set of parameters associated with each subword of corresponding classified word. A relative score is computed for each subword associated with the classified word based on a plurality of similar pairs for the corresponding classified word. A fuzzy muting function is generated using the first set of parameters, the second set of parameters and the relative score associated with each subword. The plurality of subwords associated with each classified word is muted in accordance with the generated fuzzy muting function.

  • Patent number: 10929877
Abstract: Server side content impression progression tracking is performed using ping triggers and pings. A server generates ping triggers for content based on an impression list from a configuration provided by the content originator. The server sets different times at which the ping triggers are to fire during content playback. When media playback on a client reaches a time set for a ping trigger, the ping trigger causes the client to return a ping to the server to indicate that playback has reached the designated time. In this manner, the pings granularly track content viewership on different clients, wherein the granular tracking measures not only whether content was viewed or not, but also how much of the content was viewed. Subsequent content to a particular client can be customized based on preferences derived from pings tracked from the particular client.
