Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method, and/or computer program product embodiments for monitoring long-standing computing resources. An apparatus may operate by receiving a cloud monitoring notification, where the cloud monitoring notification may indicate an occurrence of a monitored condition. The apparatus may then operate by scanning a cluster computing system for resource having a client assigned resource identifier and a computing resource attribute based on a resource identifier scan parameter and a resource attribute scan parameter. The apparatus may further operate by generating a resource notification request based on the scanning of the cluster computing system and transmitting the resource notification request to a communications system to notify a user that the resource has a computing resource attribute that match the resource attribute scan parameter.

Abstract: An image error identification system retrieves an image associated with a vehicle listing and uses various machine learning models to classify the image and generate identification data that may include a vehicle make, model, trim level, and/or various features of the vehicle present in the image. The identification data is compared to the rest of the vehicle listing to detect a mismatch between the image and the vehicle listing. An alert is generated, when a mismatch is detected, indicating the one of the image or the data in the vehicle listing is incorrect.

Abstract: In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure a method of hardening an article of manganese steel is shown. The method includes applying an ultrasonic impact treatment (UIT) on a surface of the article of manganese steel, the ultrasonic impact treatment corresponding to operational parameters, the operational parameters may include an operating ultrasonic frequency, mechanical energy, treatment travel speed, applied force, pattern, or coverage percentage, and each of the operational parameters are independently controllable.

Abstract: Conventional methods for application development are rigid, complex, costly and ineffective in implementing new and changing technologies. The embodiments herein provide a model driven system and method for development of micro service applications. A set of user interface components and one or more domain components for a plurality of micro services designs of a plurality of applications pertaining to one or more technologies are modeled and validated. Further, a plurality of codes are generated according to the one or more modeled domain components of the plurality of micro services designs of the plurality of applications satisfying one or more requirements. The plurality of generated codes are further customized and validated to ensure design and code consistency. The plurality of customized codes are further containerized to provide a plurality of containerized applications which are deployed into a target deployment environment for execution using a plurality of configuration files.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to methods and systems for automatic extraction of self-reported activities of an individual from a freestyle narrative text. Manual extraction of such self-reported activities of the individual from the freestyle narrative text over the period of time is a complex task and consume a significant amount of time. The present systems and methods utilize a predefined grammar pattern and a natural language processing technique to generate one or more candidate activity phrases, from the pre-processed input text posted by the individual. A deep learning based supervised classification model is utilized to automatically extract the one or more self-reported activities of the individual, from the one or more candidate activity phrases. Manual intervention and efforts of analyzing the freestyle narrative text to extract the self-reported activities are avoided. Longitudinal assessment of the self-reported activities may reveal routines and behavior of the individual.

Abstract: An image information overlay system retrieves an image associated with a vehicle listing and uses machine learning models to classify the image, generating identification data that may comprise a vehicle make and model, a feature or part of the vehicle present in the image, and a location of the vehicle feature or part. The identification data or an individual identifier of the vehicle, such as a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), may be used to retrieve overlay information related to the vehicle make and model, such as recalls or known maintenance issues or information specific to the vehicle, such as mileage, accident reports, or ownership history. The overlay information is displayed on the image as an overlay at the location of the vehicle feature or part corresponding to the overlay information.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a system and method for measuring average temperature of mixed fluid in an enclosed chamber. Measurement is based on two independent principle as measuring variation in acoustic wave velocity and variation in resistivity that works on a single setup. First principle is based on measuring acoustic wave velocity in a known medium, which is isolated from the surrounding. The system comprises a primary pipe and a secondary pipe, wherein the ends of the pipes reside inside the enclosed chamber. The primary pipe is made out of good conductor of heat and filled with air. Ends of the primary pipe is fitted with a transducers have one transmitter at one end and one receiver at another end. Average temperature of the mixed fluid is measured based on the variations in sound velocity of acoustic wave passed through the primary pipe and resistivity variations of the primary pipe.

Abstract: Dynamic caching policies and/or dynamic purging policies are provided for modifying the entry and eviction of content to the cache (e.g., storage and/or memory) of a caching server based on the current and past cache performance and/or demand. The caching server may modify or replace a configured policy when cache performance is below one or more thresholds. Modifying the caching policy may change caching behavior of the caching server by changing the conditions that control the content that is entered into cache or the content that is deferred and not entered into cache after a request. This may include assigning different probabilities for entering the same content into cache based on different caching policies. Modifying the purging policy may change eviction behavior of the caching server by changing the conditions that control the cached content that is selected and removed from cache.

The computer system identifies a sensor corresponding to the vehicle based on the one or more characteristics of the vehicle. The computer system identifies a most recent location of the vehicle based on the last registered position of the vehicle within the facility. The computer system transmits a signal to a parking spot sensor at the most recent location of the vehicle in the facility. The computer system receives the unique identification. The computer system determines that the unique identification of the vehicle sensor co-located with the parking spot sensor matches the sensor of the requested vehicle. The computer system reports to the user a current location of the vehicle within the facility based on a location of the parking spot sensor.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for controlling a contactless interface on a dual interface portable device are provided. The methods allow for contactless enablement and disablement on both a temporary and semi-permanent basis, dependent on commands sent to the device by an issuer of the portable device. The commands are received through a terminal device and are transferred to the portable device during a contact transaction. Configuration data on the portable device is modified according to the received commands. An application on the portable device controls the transmission of data through the contactless interface dependent on the configuration data.

Abstract: Phage ?241 specific for Escherichia coli O157:H7 was isolated from an industrial cucumber fermentation where both acidity (pH?3.7) and salinity (?5% NaCI) were high. A method for preparing a food item at least substantially free of Escherichia coli O157:H7 contamination contacted the food item with a bacteriophage ?241 under conditions for the bacteriophage ?241 to lyse all or substantially all the Escherichia coli O157:H7 present in the food item, while Escherichia coli strains other than O157:H7 were not affected. A method for detecting the presence of Escherichia coli O157:H7 by contacting a bacteriophage ?241 with a food item is also disclosed.

One embodiment of the invention is directed to a method of processing a remote transaction initiated by a mobile device. Abstract: The present invention provides methods for producing cell populations enriched for stable, regulatory T cells (Tregs). In particular, the invention relates to methods for culturing T cells such that the final culture is enriched for stable, regulatory T cells. It also relates to methods for stabilizing regulatory T cells. Also provided are compositions enriched for stable, regulatory T cells, which are useful for treating individuals in need of such treatment. The methods and compositions disclosed herein can also be used to treat an individual suffering from an immune-mediated disease.
