Abstract: In some implementations, a training platform may receive data for generating synthetic models of a body part, such as a hand. The data may include information relating to a plurality of potential poses of the hand. The training platform may generate a set of synthetic models of the hand based on the information, where each synthetic model, in the set of synthetic models, representing a respective pose of the plurality of potential poses. The training platform may derive an additional set of synthetic models based on the set of synthetic models by performing one or more processing operations with respect to at least one synthetic model in the set of synthetic models, and causing the set of synthetic models and the additional set of synthetic models to be provided to a deep learning network to train the deep learning network to perform image segmentation, object recognition, or motion recognition.

  • Patent number: 11055593
Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein may communicate information, such as alerts and notifications, to a cardholder via a color-changing transaction card. In particular, the cardholder may configure one or more thresholds that establish when a transaction card may change colors. For instance, a transaction card may change colors at, or while approaching, a first threshold. The transaction card may change colors at, or while approaching, a second threshold. When the cardholder's balance goes below the thresholds, the transaction card may revert back to the lower threshold color or the original color of the transaction card. Using the techniques described herein a financial institution may convey information to a cardholder in a way that does not require the cardholder to digital engage with the financial institution.

  • Patent number: 11055397
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to the secure storage of security questions through an immutable log, such as a blockchain. The security questions may be stored in a centralized location, accessible from an application or browser tab running on the user's device. When a security question is required, such as to perform a password reset on a website, the website may interact with the application or browser tab, which retrieves the question(s) from the blockchain. The user may enter their answers to the question(s), which may be hashed by the application or tab. The hashed answers may be entered into the original requesting website, which may verify with the blockchain that the correct answers have been provided. Thus, the requesting website sees neither the questions nor the answers. Additional security features may include logging requests for questions, so that a user can determine if a security question may have been compromised.

  • Patent number: 11053792
Abstract: A system for use in a wellbore can include a computing device that includes a processing device and a memory device that stores instructions executable by the processing device. The instructions can cause the processing device to generate a predicted value of a parameter associated with a well environment or with a wellbore operation. The instructions can also cause the processing device to receive sensor data that includes a measured value of the parameter; compare the predicted value to the measured value to determine a difference; and generate an interface for display that includes a data point associated with the difference plotted on a probability-mass distribution graph. The system can also include a sensor in electrical communication with the computing device and positionable proximate to the wellbore for generating the measured value of the parameter and transmitting the measured value of the parameter to the computing device.

  • Patent number: 11051741
Abstract: Electrocardiography (ECG) signals contain important markers for Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). State of the art systems and methods rely on clinically available multi-lead ECG for CHD classification which is not cost effective. Moreover the state of the art methods are applied on digital ECG time series data only. Also, discriminative HRV markers are not often present in short ECG recordings necessitating long hours of ECG data to analyze. In accordance with the present disclosure, systems and methods described hereinafter extract ECG time series from ECG images obtained from commercially available low-cost single lead ECG devices through a combination of image and signal processing steps including Histogram analysis, Morphological operation-thinning, Extraction of lines, Extraction of Reference Pulse, Extraction of ECG and interpolating missing data.

  • Patent number: 11057323
Abstract: In a method for distributed upload of documents an upload email address is assigned to a user and associated with a searchable document database accessible by the user via a user device and a network. Sender acceptance criteria are established for the upload email address. An email addressed to the upload email address and having a sender email address is received from an email sender via the network. A determination is made as to whether the received email meets sender acceptance criteria. Responsive to a determination that the email meets sender acceptance criteria, documents attached to the email are identified. Each identified document is associated with a document record comprising a document identifier and a sender identifier associated with the email sender and is stored in the searchable document database with the document record.

  • Patent number: 11055747
Abstract: A first advertisement management system assumes control of inserting advertisements into a spot break for a first, pre-allocated portion of the spot break, which has a duration and a scheduled conclusion. The first advertisement management system makes a first determination, based at least in part on a number of advertisements available for insertion into the first pre-allocated portion of the spot break by the first advertisement management system. The first determination indicates whether control of inserting advertisements into the spot break is to be passed to a second advertisement management system at the scheduled conclusion of the first pre-allocated portion of the spot break, prior to the scheduled conclusion of the first pre-allocated portion of the spot break, or later than the scheduled conclusion of the first pre-allocated portion of the spot break.
