Abstract: A system and method for creating an instance model is provided. The system provides an information extraction and modeling framework from wide spectrum of document types such as PDF, Text, HTML, LOG, CSV, images, audio/video files and DOCX. In this framework information is extracted and mapped on a domain conceptual model like ER model and the instance model is created. Initially a template model is created using the existing ER model and the plurality of data sources. The template model, the existing ER model and the information extracted from the plurality of data sources are then provided as input to generate the instance model. The system or method is not limited to extract information from log files. This can be useful for different types of files type if the structures and formats of data are different. The system can also be used with unstructured type of data sources.

Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring the oil to water ratio of a drilling fluid are disclosed. An example drilling fluid monitoring and handling system comprises a mud pit coupled to a fluid supply system and a fluid analysis system. The fluid supply system is coupled to the mud pit and the fluid analysis system. The fluid analysis system is coupled to the mud pit and the fluid supply system, wherein the fluid analysis system comprises a dielectric probe.

Abstract: A method of operating a web service atomic transaction (WS-AT) system includes: receiving, at a processor of an extensible markup language (XML) gateway, a first message from a communicatively coupled client, and inserting a WS-AT Transaction Identifier (ID) from a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) header into a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) header of the first message to generate a first modified message. The method also includes: receiving, at a processor of a network device communicatively coupled to the XML gateway, the first modified message from the XML gateway, determining that the WS-AT Transaction ID is not yet associated with a service provider in a routing table, and in response, sending the first modified message to a particular service provider and associating the WS-AT Transaction ID with the particular service provider in the routing table such that future messages from the client can be routed to the particular service provider.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide methods, systems, computer program products, and apparatuses for processing package delivery exceptions. In one embodiment, a method for processing an item delivery exception for an item that is to be delivered by a carrier is provided. The method comprises receiving an exception request associated with the item; notifying a delivery vehicle driver of the exception request; receiving input indicating a unique RFID identifier, wherein the unique RFID identifier identifies an exception RFID tag attached to the item; associating the unique RFID identifier with the unique item identifier; after receiving a request to locate the item, activating an RFID reader array, wherein the RFID reader array is located at a facility associated with the carrier; and based at least in part on the detection of the item by at least one RFID reader of the RFID reader array, calculating an estimated location of the item.

Abstract: A configuration receives, with a processor, a request for a voice-based, human-spoken language interpretation from a first human-spoken language to a second human-spoken language. Further, the configuration routes, with the processor, the request to a device associated with a remotely-located human interpreter. In addition, the configuration receives, with the processor, audio in the first human-spoken language from a telecommunication device. The configuration also augments, in real-time with the processor, the audio with one or more visual features corresponding to the audio. Further, the configuration sends, with the processor, the augmented audio to the device associated with the human interpreter for the voice-based, human-spoken language interpretation to be based on the augmented audio in a simulated video remote interpretation session.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method for automatically scaling a neural network including: receiving a neural network model; allocating a plurality of processing nodes for the neural network model, the number of allocated processing nodes determined based on an analysis of the neural network model; distributing training of the neural network model across the allocated processing nodes; receiving load information from the allocated processing nodes, the load information associated with the training of the neural network model; and adjusting the number of allocated processing nodes based on the load information.

Abstract: A device may determine that a verification method associated with a transaction card is to be modified from a first verification method to a second verification method. The first verification method and the second verification method may use different types of verification information. The device may provide a set of instructions to the transaction card after determining that the verification method is to be modified. The set of instructions may cause the transaction card to modify the verification method from the first verification method to the second verification method. The device may provide information identifying a modification to the verification method to a transaction backend device to notify the transaction backend device that the verification method associated with the transaction card has been modified from the first verification method to the second verification method.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a protective connection for coring inner barrels are disclosed. A coring apparatus includes a first inner barrel, a second inner barrel, and a tubular extension between adjacent ends of the first and second inner barrels. The coring apparatus includes an outer connector member moveably positioned about the tubular extension and configured for releasably connecting the first and second inner barrels. The first and second inner barrels and tubular extension define a substantially continuous tubular inner structure to receive a core sample.

Abstract: Methods and systems for the use of partially reflective materials and coatings for optical communications in a wellbore environment are provided. In one embodiment, methods for remote communication in a wellbore comprise: positioning an optical fiber in the wellbore, wherein at least a portion of the optical fiber comprises a partially reflective coating; transmitting an output optical signal from an optical source through the optical fiber; and receiving a reflected optical signal from the optical fiber at an optical detector, wherein at least one optical property of the reflected optical signal is indicative of a downhole condition.

The pharmacovigilance system may automatically generate reports based on this information, which may be validated by trained clinicians and medical experts.

Abstract: A device determines that a data breach of an application has been reported and determines that an individual has an account with the application based on identifying an association between an application identifier and a username the individual uses to access the application. The device receives, from a user device associated with the individual, password information used to access the application. The device uses the password information and usernames for a group of applications with which the individual has accounts to perform a login procedure for the group of applications to determine that login information for one or more of the applications includes the password information used to access the application affected by the data breach. The device provides, to the user device or another device, a recommendation to change the password information used to access the application and the one or more applications.

The device may provide, to user devices, a notification requesting cash to refill the cash supply.
