  • Patent number: 10574820
Abstract: Techniques are described for analyzing communications sent during a service session to provide (e.g., customer) service on a social media channel, the analysis to determine a quality of service provided during the session. Natural language processing, lexical analysis, pattern matching, or other types of analysis may be used to determine an empathy factor and a conversational factor for communications between a service representative (SR) and a user during a session. The factors may be combined with other factors, such as a timely acknowledgement factor and a timely resolution factor, to generate a response quality index (RQI) for the session. Based on the RQI, feedback information may be generated and sent to the SR. In some implementations, the communications may be analyzed and feedback information sent to the SR in real time during the session, to dynamically improve service quality.

  • Patent number: 10571584
Abstract: Systems and methods for estimating orthorhombic anisotropy parameters of subsurface rock layers are provided. An initial three-dimensional (3D) model of layers in a subsurface formation is generated. Particular combinations of seismic source and receiver locations associated with a vertical seismic profile (VSP) survey of the formation are selected based on a simulation of seismic wave propagation through each layer of the initial 3D model. A global inversion is performed using data points selected from travel time data associated with the VSP survey in order to estimate different sets of anisotropy parameters for the layers of the initial 3D model, where the selected data points correspond to the selected source-receiver combinations. The initial 3D model is refined with an optimal set of anisotropy parameters selected from the estimated parameter sets. The refined 3D model is provided for seismic analysis and well planning operations to be performed for the subsurface formation.

  • Patent number: 10572884
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods executing a security server that perform various processes using alert elements containing various data fields indicating threats of fraud or attempts to penetrate an enterprise network. Using alert elements, the security server generate integrated alerts that are associated with customers of the system and assign a risk score for the integrated alerts, which the security server uses to store and sort the integrated alerts according to a priority, based on the relative risk scores. Analyst computers may query and fetch integrated alerts from an integrate alert database, and then present the integrate alerts to be addressed by an analyst according to the priority level of the respective integrated alerts. This allows to ensure that the right customer, is worked by the right analyst, at the right time, to maximize fraud prevention and minimize customer impact.

  • Patent number: 10570604
Abstract: A filtration apparatus for installation in a catch basin vault is described. A perforate support plate includes a retractable basket that lies below an opening in the support plate and is positioned below a manhole. Water flowing into the system flows onto the support plate and into the basket, which traps debris. The basket is slidable from an in-use position where the basket is positioned to screen debris flowing into the vault, and a cleanout-position in which the interior of the vault is accessible so that the vault may be cleaned. When the vault needs to be cleaned, the manhole cover is removed to allow workers to have access to the interior of the vault. The workers may clean out the basket, and then slide it out of the way so that they have access to the vault interior.

  • Patent number: 10569242
Abstract: In accordance with presently disclosed embodiments, systems and methods for managing bulk material efficiently at a well site are provided. The disclosure is directed to a container support frame that is integrated into a blender unit. The support frame is used to receive one or more portable containers of bulk material, and the blender unit may include a gravity feed outlet for outputting bulk material from the containers directly into a mixer of the blender unit. The blender unit with integrated support frame may eliminate the need for any subsequent mechanical conveyance of the bulk material (e.g., via a separate mechanical conveying system or on-blender sand screws) from the containers to the mixer. As such, the integrated blender unit may be lighter weight, take up less space, and have a lower cost and complexity than existing blenders.

  • Patent number: 10571597
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for scanning an item utilizing an X-ray scanner in order to facilitate a determination of whether the X-ray radiation penetrated through the entirety of the scanned item. Various embodiments comprise a conveying mechanism, an X-ray emitter, a detector, and an X-ray penetration grid (XPG). The XPG may comprise a radiopaque grid that may serve as a reference for determining whether radiation passes through the scanned item, the grid oriented such that the grid members are neither parallel nor perpendicular to the direction of travel. Such orientation may minimize or eliminate “ghosted” radiation signals included in a visual display of the radiation received by the detector. A scanned item may be oriented with the XPG such that radiation emitted by the X-ray emitter that passes through a portion of the scanned item must also pass through the XPG before being received by the detector.

  • Patent number: 10574657
Abstract: Transaction authorization systems may include a transaction processor and an authorization server system. The transaction processor obtains transaction requests authorizations for those requests from the authorization server system. The transaction processor may require an authorization be provided within a threshold time; otherwise, the transaction may be processed without authorization. The authorization server system may be hosted using one or more nodes in a distributed system. Degradation of the performance of the distributed system may cause the performance of the authorization server system to fall below the required performance threshold and transactions may not be authorized before automatic processing. Transaction authorization systems may monitor the health of the individual nodes and/or the distributed system and automatically adjust the routing of authorizations based on current and/or future performance degradation.
