Abstract: A method and system for identifying corrosion. The method may include disposing an electromagnetic (EM) logging tool into a pipe string configured to perform measurements at one or more depths and creating a log from the measurements at one or more depths taken by the EM logging tool in the pipe string. The method may further comprise computing one or more pseudo attributes of one or more pipes with the log and determining a remedial operation based at least on the one or more pseudo attributes. The system may include an electromagnetic (EM) logging tool into a pipe string configured to perform measurements at one or more depths and an information handling system.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for identifying on-line reductions. For instance, a user interaction may be monitored to detect a first on-line platform being launched, and a user input may be received associated with the first on-line platform. An item associated with the first on-line platform, and one or more potential reductions associated with the item are automatically identified. Responsive to the identification of the one or more potential reductions, an electronic application is displayed including an indication of the one or more potential reductions at a display of the user input device, the electronic application operating in conjunction with the first on-line platform and including a user-selectable link that updates the first on-line platform to display the one or more potential reductions for the item on the first platform, or causes display of a second on-line platform to display the one or more potential reductions.

The method may include using a mobile device to identify a substantially level surface within a field of view of a camera of the mobile device; display an image stream of a physical environment including the substantially level surface and a virtual model of a financial instrument, the virtual model of the financial instrument depicted as having a position and orientation relative to the substantially level surface; instruct a user to position a financial instrument such that the financial instrument is aligned with the virtual model; determine a distance from the mobile device to the financial instrument and an orientation of the mobile device relative to at least one of the financial instrument or the substantially level surface; and based on the distance and the orientation of the mobile device, automatically capture an image.

Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product for increasing sensitivity and/or readability of contactless cards. One or more signals are received from a first device. Each of the signals is responsive to one or more transmissions generated and sent to the first device by a respective receiving coil, upon being energized. A signal strength of each of the signals received from the first device is determined. A first signal in having a highest signal strength is identified based on determined signal strengths of one or more signals. A first receiving coil corresponding to the first signal is selected. The plurality of receiving coils are de-energized. The selected first receiving coil is energized and a communication with the first device is and established using the selected first receiving coil.

Abstract: A software module, executed locally on a user device, may monitor a plurality of user interactions with one or more interfaces. The plurality of user interactions may be exclusive of item level data of the one or more interfaces. The plurality of user interactions may be provided to a machine-learning model. The machine-learning model may have been trained to identify user interest behavior patterns and output a user interest score. The machine-learning model may output the user interest score based on the plurality of user interactions. It may be determined that the user interest score exceeds a user interest score threshold. A capturing of the item level data of the one or more interfaces may be triggered based on the user interest score exceeding the user interest score threshold. The item level data of the one or more interfaces may be stored locally on the user device.

Abstract: An interlock system for explosive operations includes an array of magnet sensors configured to engage an array of magnets in a magnetic key. The key may be selectively positioned to activate select sensors while the other remains deactivated. Various sequences of activated and deactivated sensors correspond to various states of the interlock system. One or more switches of the interlock system are set according the state of the system. Some states set the switches to disable any electrical signals from passing to the explosives. Other states set the switches to enable select signals to pass to the explosive or other tools. Explosive operations are enabled only in a particular predetermined state.

Abstract: A method and system comprising disposing an electromagnetic (EM) logging tool in a wellbore, wherein the EM logging tool comprises: one or more transmitters disposed on the EM logging tool; and one or more receivers disposed on the EM logging tool. They system and method may further comprise an information handling system configured for transmitting an electromagnetic field from the transmitter into one or more tubulars to energize the one or more tubulars with the electromagnetic field thereby producing an eddy current that emanates from the one or more tubulars; measuring the eddy current in the one or more tubulars with the receiver on at least one channel to obtain a plurality of measurements. Finally, forming an EM log from the plurality of measurements; extracting an eccentricity pattern from the EM log, and inspecting at least the eccentricity pattern and EM log to identify defects in tubulars.

Abstract: Systems and methods for provisioning escrow and securing purchases can include receiving first encrypted data from a first contactless card of a seller, decrypting the first encrypted data to authenticate the first contactless card, identifying information of the seller, and responsive thereto, offering an item for sale at a purchase price via an online platform. To purchase the item for sale, second encrypted data can be received from a second contactless card of a buyer two times. First, the second encrypted data can be decrypted to authenticate the second contactless card, information of the buyer can be identified, and responsive thereto, an amount of money equal to the purchase price can be retrieved from the buyer and placed in an escrow account. Second, the second encrypted data can be decrypted to authenticate the second contactless card, and the money in the escrow account can be released to the seller.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to applying, via contactless card authentication, one or more restrictions to a virtual card number and generating the card number for use by a recipient. The one or more restrictions may be specifically personalized to the recipient and may include, for example, a merchant restriction, an amount restriction, a time period restriction, or a location restriction. The generated virtual card number along with the applied one or more restrictions may be consumed in various ways, such as writing the number to a blank card, transmitting the number directly to the recipient's computing device, etc., all via near-field communication.

Abstract: The system and methods described herein allow users to give their applicant information when seeking to purchase a good with financing from multiple potential lenders, and may be pre-screened by one or more rule sets implemented by a marketplace client in an eligibility analysis to ultimately submit applicant information to a subset of the multiple potential lenders which are found to be suitable for lending to an applicant based on the applicant information, wherein lender microservices are then run in a jailed, firewalled, and self-contained, autonomous environment, and the results of said lender microservices are reported to the user and may be used to change the one or more rule sets implemented by the marketplace client for future pre-screening of applicants.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for improving computer authentication processes through presenting favorite merchants selection in transaction-based authentication. A computing device may receive a request for access to an account associated with a user. The computing device may train a machine learning model to determine predicted favorite merchant information, and provide one or more transactions conducted by the user as input to the trained first machine learning model. Data indicating favorite merchant information may be received from the trained first machine learning model. An authentication question may be generated and a candidate response to the authentication question may be received. Based on the candidate response, access to the account may be provided.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for automating a pump-down stop operation and, more particularly, example embodiments may include an automated pump-down stop system that adjusts a fluid rate and a winch speed before the target depth based on the remaining depth and line speed. An example method for automating a pump-down stop operation of a downhole tool string includes: measuring a depth of the downhole tool string, wherein the downhole tool string is held by a wireline; measuring a wireline tension; measuring a speed of the wireline; measuring a pumping rate; measuring an inclination of the downhole tool string; and regulating automatically a winch controller and a pump controller simultaneously to stop the downhole tool string at a target depth based at least on the measurements of one or more of the depth, wireline tension, speed, pumping rate, and/or inclination.

Abstract: A catalyst and method of use can involve causing a clean exothermic reaction in a flowline environment. The mixture can include sodium nitrite, an ammonium-based compound, and an activator that can be injected into a fluid flow path. The activator can include an acid that can be generated from a lactone. The fluid flow path can be a pipeline, a flowline, a wellbore, or a subterranean formation. The mixture can cause an exothermic reaction in the fluid flow path and remove, using the exothermic reaction, a damaging material from the fluid flow path.

Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein include a mobile solution to enable users to perform financial transaction over a network using a mobile device. These techniques allow users to maintain a single personal account identifier or number (“PAN”) on the user's mobile device and to utilize it to access a plurality of linked financial accounts and sub-accounts. Any one of the accounts can be selected by a user on the mobile device to remotely deposit funds to that account based on an image of a financial payment instrument. The image can be obtained using image capture technology on the user's mobile device. Users can perform a financial transaction using the verified images over a network in order to conduct a remote financial transaction such as applying a deposit, a payment, or cash load to a designated account which is linked to the user's mobile account in real-time or near real-time.

Abstract: A device, system and method for analyzing audio speech signals to detect fraudulent calls to a contact center comprising splitting an audio recording of a call in real-time into a foreground speech signal attributed to a main speaker and a background audio signal, extracting audio features from the foreground speech signal and background audio signal, inputting the extracted audio features into an ensemble model comprising multiple different machine learning models co-trained to cumulatively detect fraud, wherein the multiple different machine learning models include: a speaker audio model to detect audio speech anomalies, a speaker intent model to classify intent of the main speaker, and a prosody model to detect voice intonation of the main speaker. A prediction may be output, by the ensemble model, indicating whether the call is fraudulent.

Abstract: The disclosure presents processes that utilize collected resistivity data, for example, from an ultra-deep resistivity tool located downhole a borehole. In some aspects, each slice of resistivity data can generate multiple distribution curves that can be overlaid offset resistivity logs. In some aspects, an analysis can be performed to identify trends in the distribution curves that can be used to identify approximate locations of subterranean formation surfaces, shoulder beds, obstacles, proximate boreholes, and other borehole and geological characteristics. As the number of distribution curves generated increase, the confidence in the analysis also increases. In some aspects, the number of distribution curves can be twenty, one hundred, one hundred and one, or other counts of distribution curves. In some aspects, the resistivity data can be used to generate two or more synchronized view perspectives of a specific location along the borehole, where each view perspective uses the same focus area.
