Abstract: A method and system for capturing contactless communication interactions for debugging and evaluating a contactless card. The method includes receiving Near Field Communication (NFC) signaling from a contactless card. Upon receiving the NFC signal, a contactless transaction is initiated between a card emulation device and a payment device. The method includes obtaining Application Protocol Data Unit (APDU) commands from the payment device in response to initiation of the contactless transaction. Further, the APDU commands are provided to the contactless card, and in response, an APDU response is received from the contactless card. Thereafter, the method includes transmitting the APDU response of the contactless card to the payment device. The APDU command and APDU response are stored in each of the reader device and the card emulation device for debugging and evaluating the contactless card transaction.

Abstract: A method includes forming a communication channel between a user device and an access device. Abstract: A method for recognizing an object in a video stream may include receiving a video stream comprising a plurality of video frames from a video source. The method may also select at least one video frame from the video frames according to a frame selection rate. The method may also partition the selected video frame into a first plurality of image blocks, and recognize, out of the first plurality of image blocks, a second plurality of image blocks which comprise an image of an object, the recognition being based on an image recognition parameter determined by a machine-learning algorithm. The method may also determine that at least one of the second plurality of image blocks corresponds to the object based on a likelihood metric, the likelihood metric being determined by the processor based on at least the frame selection rate, and display, on a display, information identifying the object.
Abstract: Aspects described herein may use machine learning models to predict one or more remediation actions to mitigate reoccurrence of an incident that has become restored based upon previous incidents of an entity. Historical incident data is compiled into two incident datasets: one representative of incidents that were assigned a remediation action to mitigate reoccurrence of the incident, and a second representative of incidents that were not assigned a remediation action. A machine learning model matches relationships between data in the two datasets and outputs scores representative of similarities. Based on the scores, one or more remediation actions are mapped to an incident in the second dataset and the remediation action is performed for the incident.

Abstract: Improvements to post-quantum lattice-based digital signature schemes are disclosed. By sampling cryptographic material, including cryptographic key matrices and masking vectors from a uniform distribution, embodiments eliminate the need for a security check during generation of a digital signature vector. As a result, digital signatures can be generated faster and at a lower failure rate. A generating device can generate a verification matrix A and a secret matrix S from a uniform distribution, and an error matrix E from a special distribution (such as a Gaussian). The generating device can combine the three matrices to generate a public matrix Y. The first and the fourth matrices (A, Y) can be used as a public key used to verify digital signatures. The second and the third matrices (S, E) can be used as a private key used to generate digital signatures.

Abstract: Several round-efficient solitary multi-party computation protocols with guaranteed output delivery are disclosed. A plurality of input devices and an output device can collectively perform a computation using methods such as fully homomorphic encryption. The output of the computation is only known to the output device. Some number of these devices may be corrupt. However, even in the presence of corrupt devices, the output device can still either generate a correct output or identify that the computation was compromised. These protocols operate under different assumptions regarding the communication infrastructure (e.g., broadcast vs point-to-point), the number of participating devices, and the number of corrupt devices. These protocols are round-efficient in that they require a minimal number of communication rounds to calculate the result of the multi-party computation.
Abstract: A method includes receiving an image that includes a wellbore component used during a wellbore operation of a borehole at a wellsite captured by a camera at the wellsite and inputting the image into an image recognition model. The method includes outputting, from the image recognition model, a class representing the wellbore component and inputting the class into a context model. The method includes outputting, from the context model, contextual data related to the wellbore component based on, the class representing the wellbore component, contextual data relating to the wellbore operation, and a type of the wellbore operation. The method includes transmitting the contextual data to a wearable device worn by a user at the wellsite.

In one embodiment, an exemplary method comprises receiving encrypted code that includes implementing a cryptographic algorithm from a service via a network, wherein the encrypted code further includes a symmetric encryption key; decrypting, by a cryptographic coprocessor, the encrypted code; executing, by the cryptographic coprocessor, the decrypted code to generate a cryptogram including information encrypted using the cryptographic algorithm and the symmetric encryption key; and sending the cryptogram to the service via the network.

Abstract: Systems and methods are configured to perform prioritized processing of a plurality of processing objects under a time constraint. Abstract: An e-vapor device may include a housing shell configured to receive a supply packet containing a pre-vapor formulation, a mouthpiece secured to an end of the housing shell, a puncture device within the housing shell, and a heater structure within the housing shell and arranged to be in thermal contact with the pre-vapor formulation. The mouthpiece is configured to transition from a protracted position to a retracted position. The puncture device is configured to pierce the supply packet to release the pre-vapor formulation when the mouthpiece transitions to the retracted position. The heater structure is configured to vaporize the pre-vapor formulation to generate a vapor.
Abstract: A line of coherent radiation is projected on a bed on which one or more particles is located, the one or more particles flowing produced as a result of a downhole operation in the borehole. An image of the bed is captured wherein one or more particles on the bed deflect the line of coherent radiation. One or more image edges is detected based on the captured image. A subset of the one or more image edges is identified as corresponding to edges of the one or more particles, based in part on changes in intensity of the captured image. Information about the one or more particles, including information about of size, shape and volume, can be determined from the one or more image edges corresponding to the edges of the one or more particles.
Abstract: Disclosed are a system and methods enabling updating of a card number of a payment card and thereby reissuing the payment card utilizing a reissue application associated with the payment card. The reissue application, when executed communicates with a service provider that manages the payment card. The payment card includes processing circuity and a rewriteable visual display. Using cryptographic techniques, the reissue application and payment card are authenticated to the service provider. Upon verification, an updated card number is obtained and provided via near-field communication to the payment card. In response to the update payment card number received from the reissue application, the rewriteable visual display on the payment card is updated with the updated card number. Other information may also be presented on the rewriteable visual display of the payment card based on user preferences.
