Abstract: Described are a system, method, and computer program product for processing a transaction as a push payment transaction. The method may include receiving, with a payment gateway processor, a transaction request from a merchant system. The transaction request may include transaction data associated with a payment device of a user, the payment device being associated with an issuer system. The method may also include generating, with the payment gateway processor, an authentication request based on the transaction data. The method may further include communicating, with the payment gateway processor, the authentication request to the issuer system. The method may further include, in response to the issuer system authenticating the authentication request, generating a push payment request including an account identifier associated with the merchant system, and communicating the push payment request to the issuer system.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide systems, methods, and techniques for managing merchandising cards. A merchandising card may be, for example, a gift card, loyalty card, or the like. Consistent disclosed embodiments, a system for managing merchandising cards may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to acquire, from a device over a network, a plurality of locations associated with the device, the device locations being acquired at different instances in time within a predetermined period of time. Additionally, the one or more processors may be configured to calculate an overall merchant confidence rating for a merchant using the device locations. Further, the one or more processors may be configured to, based on the overall merchant confidence rating, determine that the merchant matches a merchant that is associated with merchandising card, and send a reminder a user of the device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for processing items or services in a container may include: initiating execution of a web module or an application installed on a user device based on user input; identifying an alternative for an item or service in the container; providing a user interface including: first information related to the item or the service in a first portion, second information related to alternative in a second portion, and one or more user interface elements overlaying the first portion or the second portion; detecting input to the one or more user interface elements, the input including: a command to cycle through display of the alternative item or service, selection of the alternative item or service, and/or an indication of a preference for the alternative item or service; and performing one or more actions based on the input.

Abstract: In some implementations, a mobile device may receive, from a first sensor of the mobile device, measurements indicating a location of the mobile device. The mobile device may further receive, from a second sensor of the mobile device, measurements associated with a grip of the user on the mobile device. Accordingly, the mobile device may input indicators of the location and the grip to a model that outputs an indication associated with suspicious activity. The mobile device may present, while the user is viewing a screen associated with an application using the model, one or more prompts. The mobile device may therefore determine whether to allow the user to continue viewing the screen based on one or more responses to the one or more prompts.

Abstract: Computer-implemented techniques and systems for generating vehicle profiles may include scanning a plurality of vehicles, each vehicle located at a respective vehicle location, identifying respective vehicle locations for each of the plurality of vehicles, based on scanning the plurality of vehicles, associating a vehicle identification tag for each vehicle with its respective vehicle location, interpreting a signal to determine a user location, determining that the user location is within a threshold distance from a first vehicle location of a first vehicle from the plurality of vehicles, providing a first vehicle identification tag corresponding to the first vehicle based on determining that the user location is within the threshold distance, generating a first vehicle profile based on the first vehicle identification tag, and providing the first vehicle profile to a user device.

According to an aspect, a supercapacitor comprises a pair of electrodes and an electrolyte, wherein at least one of the electrodes comprises a plurality of frustules having formed thereon a surface active material. The surface active material can include nanostructures. The surface active material can include one or more of a zinc oxide, a manganese oxide and a carbon nanotube.

Abstract: Provided is a two-stage dryer system. The two-stage dryer system includes a cooling dehumidifier configured to condense and remove moisture contained in compressed air by cooling the compressed air flowing therein, and then discharge the compressed air; and a deliquescent dehumidifier configured to bring the compressed air discharged from the cooling dehumidifier in contact with a deliquescent agent to remove the moisture contained in the compressed air through a process of deliquescence caused by the deliquescent agent, and then discharge the air with the moisture removed.

Abstract: In some embodiments, gaze-tracking-based image downscaling for multi-party video communication may be provided. In some embodiments, a set of gaze locations may be received from a set of receiving devices during concurrent video communication sessions between the receiving devices and a sending device. Different collections of positions may be determined based on the gaze locations, and, for each such collection, a spatial indicator (e.g., a bounded region) may be determined. A first downscaled encoding of the source image (from the sending device) may be generated based on the first spatial indicator, and a second downscaled encoding of the source image may be generated based on the second spatial indicator, etc. The downscaled encodings may then be sent to the respective receiving devices during the concurrent video communication sessions.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques to provide an orientationless transaction card. Embodiments include a transaction card having a substrate comprising one or more laminated layers and a chip comprising processing circuitry, and memory, the chip embedded within the substrate. The transaction card may also include a first contact pad coupled with the chip, the first contact pad embedded on a first side of the substrate at a first location and a second contact pad embedded on the first side of the substrate at a second location. Further, the transaction card includes an antenna embedded within the substrate, the antenna to couple the chip with the second contact pad.

Abstract: A device may determine information that identifies a location of a projectable transaction card that is capable of being used to conduct a transaction associated with a merchant. The device may determine that the location of the projectable transaction card matches a location associated with the merchant. The device may identify a virtual transaction number that is unique to the merchant, previously associated with the merchant, unique to an account associated with the projectable transaction card, and to be used in conducting the transaction. The device may provide the virtual transaction number for display on a display screen of the projectable transaction card. The virtual transaction number may not be displayed on the display screen of the projectable transaction card prior to a determination that the location of the projectable transaction card matches the location associated with the merchant.

Abstract: A user can request provisioning of account information for an account to a plurality of resource providing entities. The account may be a new or existing account issued by an authorization computer. The authorization computer may prompt the user to select one or more resource providing entities to which to provision a token associated with the account. Processor server computer may then tokenize the account information associated with the account by determining a token for each resource providing entity selected by the user. In some cases, a token may be provisioned to an already existing account or profile (e.g., account on file) associated with a resource providing entity. In other cases, an account or profile associated with a resource providing entity may not yet exist and thus may be created before a token may be provisioned. Subsequently, the user may utilize provisioned tokens to conduct transactions.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, via at least one processor, alert data that may include an alert associated with a vehicle identifier of an additional vehicle and location data. The method may then include cross referencing the alert data with image data to identify a match between the alert data and the image data, such that the image data is acquired over a period of time by one or more image sensors coupled to a vehicle. The method may also include presenting a notification via an electronic display of the vehicle in response to identifying a match between the alert data and the image data.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure include computer systems for improving data security. To do so, an authorization request associated with a user profile is received, including a time-stamp for a profile activity, a profile identifier, and a value. Application analytics data for a software application on a user device associated with the user profile is accessed, including an open event indicator indicating a time of a loading, and a close event indicator indicating a time of a termination. An open period of the software application at the time-stamp is determined based on the application open event indicator and the application close event indicator. A reduced set of fraud checks is selected and executed when the time-stamp associated with the profile activity is within the open period of the software application. A fraud determination is generated, and an authorization notification is generated based on the fraud determination.

Abstract: A method for providing interactive recording networks is disclosed. Multiple child networks can be established, each child network being coordinated by a respective coordinating entity. Each coordinating entity can also participate in a central parent network. A data package can be sent from one network to another. When a data package is sent to another network, additional data can be added to indicate that the data package is being escalated.
