Abstract: Techniques for monitoring operating statuses of an application and its dependencies are provided. A monitoring application may collect and report the operating status of the monitored application and each dependency. Through use of existing monitoring interfaces, the monitoring application can collect operating status without requiring modification of the underlying monitored application or dependencies. The monitoring application may determine a problem service that is a root cause of an unhealthy state of the monitored application. Dependency analyzer and discovery crawler techniques may automatically configure and update the monitoring application. Machine learning techniques may be used to determine patterns of performance based on system state information associated with performance events and provide health reports relative to a baseline status of the monitored application. Also provided are techniques for testing a response of the monitored application through modifications to API calls.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed in which a symbol associated with an ATM of a plurality of ATMs is made available to a customer in response to a request for access to the ATM. The symbol identifies the ATM to the user in locations having multiple ATMs, thus avoiding confusion for the user. The symbol may be used for any of the possible transactions between the user and the ATM, such as balance inquiries, deposits, transfers, and cash withdrawals.

Abstract: Techniques for providing indirect local geo-positioning using AR markers are disclosed. A first movable AR marker can be located or found by a computing device. A location of the first movable AR marker can be known and shared with the computing device. The location of the first movable AR marker can be based on distance between the first movable AR marker and a fixed AR marker. A distance to the first movable AR marker can be determined. Based on the known location of the first movable AR marker and the distance to the first movable AR marker from the computing device, an estimate of the location of the computing device can be determined without having line-of-sight (LOS) to the fixed AR marker.

Abstract: An apparatus for orienting an accelerometer on a post-tensioned rod is provided. The apparatus includes a first open channel having a first sidewall forming a substantially half cylinder shape along at least a portion of a length of the first open channel, and a first axis along a length of the first open channel. The apparatus further includes a second open channel having a second sidewall forming a substantially half cylinder shape along at least a portion of a height of the second open channel, and a second axis along a height of the second open channel. The apparatus further includes a stopper wall having an inner surface disposed internal to a top end of the second channel. The inner surface of the stopper wall is substantially perpendicular to the second axis. The first axis is substantially perpendicular to the second axis. The first and second channels are contiguous.

Abstract: Systems and methods enable automated and scalable obfuscation detection in programming scripts, including processing devices that receive software programming scripts and a symbol set. The processing devices determine a frequency of each symbol and an average frequency of the symbols in the script text. The processing devices determine a normal score of each symbol based on the frequency of each symbol and the average frequency to create a symbol feature for each symbol including the normal score. The processing devices utilize an obfuscation machine learning model including a classifier for binary obfuscation classification to detect obfuscation in the script based on the symbol features. The processing devices cause to display an alert indicting an obfuscated software programming script on a screen of a computing device associated with an administrative user to recommend security analysis of the software programming script based on the binary obfuscation classification.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for generating a quantifiable communication profile of a participant, then using that communication profile to identify fake media and/or verify media as authentic. An exemplary system can receive communications in which a participant was one of the parties communicating, perform natural language processing and statistical analyses on the received communications, and generate a participant communication profile which details how the participant communicates and prefers to be communicated with. The system can also receive media purported to be from the participant, perform natural language processing on the purported media, compare the syntax of the purported media to the participant's communication profile, and identify, based on word usage, the media as a fake.

Abstract: A container assembly including a body portion with a front wall, a rear wall, and lateral side walls connecting the front wall and the rear wall. The body portion may be divided by a horizontal partition into an upper waste portion above the partition and a lower weight sensor portion below the partition, wherein the weight sensor portion includes a weight sensor. A container assembly may include an opening disposed on the rear wall of the body portion and a bag dispenser positioned near the opening and disposed on an interior surface of the rear wall, wherein the opening provides access from the bag dispenser to an interior space of the body portion.

Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating a user to access a public terminal are described. Disclosed embodiments may include reading, using the physical credential reader, a user identifier from the physical credential device. Disclosed embodiments may also include transmitting the public terminal identifier and the user identifier to a secure server. Further, disclosed embodiments may include receiving, after completing the transmission, a unique code from the secure server. Disclose embodiments may additionally include displaying the unique code on the display device. Disclosed embodiments may include receiving, after displaying the unique code, an authentication message from the secure server. Disclosed embodiments may further include, responsive to receiving the authentication message, authorizing the user to use a terminal command at the public terminal.

Abstract: System and method for updating customer data that includes a plurality of electronically stored contact records that each include contact information for a respective individual contact. Filtering is applied to the customer data to identify contacts that fall within defined filtering criteria. Information about the identified contacts is provided to a decision making authority for a further layer of filtering. Customer data is updated based on feedback derived from the decision making authority.

Abstract: Application-based point of sale systems in mobile operating systems. A first application may generate a first URL directed to a second application, a parameter of the first URL comprising an identifier of the first application. A mobile operating system (OS) may access the first URL to open the second application. The second application may receive, from a server, a virtual account number (VAN). The second application may initiate a server on a port and generate a second URL directed to the first application, a parameter of the second URL comprising the port. The OS may access the second URL to open the first application. The first application may establish a connection with the server using the specified port and receive the VAN from the second application via the connection. The first application may autofill the VAN to a form field of a payment form in the first application.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for managing a digital reputation of a user. The exemplary method can receive information about an item to be purchased by the user, determine in real-time or near real-time, based on one or more financial factors, a first digital reputation score indicative of an effect of the item on the user's digital reputation, determine an alternative item to be purchased instead of the item to be purchased, and determine a second digital reputation score based on the purchase of the alternative item.

Abstract: A device receives, from a user device, a communication associated with a support issue encountered by a user of the user device and assigns the communication to a position in a support queue based on when the communication is received, wherein the support queue includes data identifying positions of other communications received from other users, and data identifying when the other communications were received. The device processes data identifying the communication and historical communication data describing prior communications associated with the user, with a model, to determine an average time spent on hold by the user for the prior communications. The device modifies the position of the communication in the support queue based on the average time and performs one or more actions based on modifying the position of the communication in the support queue.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for generating dynamic interface options using machine learning models. The dynamic interface options may be generated in real time and reflect the likely goals and/or intents of a user. The machine learning model may provide these features by interpreting multi-modal feature inputs. For example, the machine learning model may include a first machine learning model, wherein the first machine learning model comprises a convolutional neural network, and a second machine learning model, wherein the second machine learning model performs a Weight of Evidence (WOE) analysis.

Abstract: A ranging system and method uses three-dimensional (“3D”) magnetic field measurements to correct ranging distance and direction. Ghost well interference may also be decoupled from the ranging solutions using 3D magnetic gradient field measurements.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for preventing a sharp stick hazard from a needle tip of an automatic injector device. In some embodiments, a skin contact surface of the device is attached to an injection site, for example by an adhesive. Optionally a locking mechanism holds a needle extended into an injection site. A body of the device is optionally movably attached to the skin contact surface. Pulling the body away from the injection site optionally moves the body with respect to the skin contact surface. Movement of the body with respect to the skin contact surface optionally moves interlinked parts of the locking mechanism, releasing the locking mechanism.

Abstract: Encryption is performed at the field level within a data object, in response to an encryption indicator. Encrypted fields are nulled or zeroed out and the encrypted values are stored in encryption metadata with a path identifying the locations of the encrypted fields. An encrypted data key is appended with a decryption identifier and stored in the encryption metadata. The encrypted data object may be reformatted while encrypted. The encrypted data key is extracted from the encryption metadata and the decryption identifier is used to identify a master key used to decrypt the encrypted data key. The data key is used to decrypt the encrypted values and the decrypted values are stored in the fields identified by the paths.

Abstract: A multiphase converter topology is used for the transmission of electrical energy from an AC voltage input with m grid phase connections to a DC voltage output or vice versa. It has a power part with half-bridges for switching currents, an AC voltage filter between the power part and the AC voltage input, and DC voltage block(s) connected between the power part and the DC output. The AC voltage filter has alternating voltage filter stage(s) with m+1 input connections, m+1 output connections and a ground connection. The m grid phase connections are thereby connected in parallel to one another and form a first phase connection for the connection of a single-phase AC voltage. A neutral conductor connection of the AC voltage filter forms a neutral conductor connection of the AC voltage input and a second phase connection for the connection of the single-phase AC voltage.

Abstract: A treatment fluid can be provided for controlling annular pressure-buildup in a wellbore. The treatment fluid can include a base fluid and a pozzolanic material that can be dispersed within the base fluid. The pozzolanic material can cause the treatment fluid to controllably consolidate in an annulus of the wellbore for controlling annular pressure-buildup in the wellbore.

Abstract: A method for controlling a drilling trajectory of a wellbore includes computing a position and attitude of a drill bit within a wellbore. The method further includes computing a wellbore trajectory error between (i) the position of the drill bit and a well plan position and (ii) the attitude of the drill bit and a well plan attitude. Further, the method includes determining an inclination set-point change command and an azimuth set-point change command using the wellbore trajectory error. Additionally, the method includes steering the drill bit using the inclination set-point change command and the azimuth set-point change command.
