Patent number: 11696736Abstract: Conventionally, systems and methods have been provided for manual annotation of anatomical landmarks in digital radiography (DR) images. Embodiments of the present disclosure provides system and method for anatomical landmark detection and identification from DR images containing severe skeletal deformations. More specifically, motion artefacts and exposure are filtered from an input DR image to obtain a pre-processed DR image and probable/candidate anatomical landmarks comprised therein are identified. These probable candidate anatomical landmarks are assigned a score. A subset of the candidate anatomical landmarks (CALs) is selected as accurate anatomical landmarks based on comparison of the score with a pre-defined threshold performed by a trained classifier. Position of remaining CALs may be fine-tuned for classification thereof as accurate anatomical landmarks or missing anatomical landmarks.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2020Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Assignee: TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES LIMITEDInventors: Aparna Kanakatte Gurumurthy, Pavan Kumar Reddy Kancham, Jayavardhana Rama Gubbi Lakshminarasimha, Avik Ghose, Murali Poduval, Balamuralidhar Purushothaman

Patent number: 11698843Abstract: Described herein is a method, system, and non-transitory computer readable medium for helping customers in accessing data through an application from a replica database, detecting whether the replica database, zone of availability of the replica database, or geographical region encompassing the zone of availability is experiencing an outage or other failure, and re-routing traffic to a backup replica database accordingly. To assess the status of the database, metrics are pushed in a secure manner from a private subnet to a public-facing monitoring agent, achieving a clear segregation of private subnet and public facing components. Further, circuit-breaker logic is included for preventing failure during updating DNS addresses during the re-routing process.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2022Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Kasi Reddy Sangala, Shah Sidi, Sampath Kumar Kasilingam, Paul Ly

Patent number: 11699517Abstract: High-accuracy locating systems and methods are used for determining successful caregiver rounding, monitoring whether housekeepers have properly cleaned patient beds, or determining whether patients have ambulated sufficient distances during recovery. Patient beds having at least two locating tags are used for establishing patient care zones around the patient beds. Locating anchors and equipment tags are moved around a patient room to determine optimum locating anchor placement within the patient room based on signal quality values. A locating tag on a patient bed switches roles to operate as a locating anchor in response to the patient bed becoming stationary. Patent number: 11699275Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to visio-linguistic understanding. Conventional methods use contextual visio-linguistic reasoner for visio-linguistic understanding which requires more compute power and large amount of pre-training data. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for visio-linguistic understanding using contextual language model reasoner. The method converts the visual information of an input image into a format that the contextual language model reasoner understands and accepts for a downstream task. The method utilizes the image captions and confidence score associated with the image captions along with a knowledge graph to obtain a combined input in a format compatible with the contextual language model reasoner. Contextual embeddings corresponding to the downstream task is obtained using the combined input. The disclosed method is used to solve several downstream tasks such as scene understanding, visual question answering, visual common-sense reasoning and so on.Type: GrantFiled: June 16, 2021Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Assignee: TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES LIMITEDInventors: Sai Sree Bhargav Kurma, Kanika Kalra, Silpa Vadakkeeveetil Sreelatha, Manasi Patwardhan, Shirish Subhash Karande

Patent number: 11696599Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for use with a vaporizer that vaporizes at least one active ingredient of a plant material. In response to receiving a first input to the vaporizer, the plant material is heated, in a first heating step. An indication of the temperature of the plant material is detected, and, in response to detecting an indication that the temperature of the plant material is at a first temperature, the first heating step is terminated, by withholding causing further temperature increase of the plant material. The first temperature is less than 95 percent of the vaporization temperature of the active ingredient. Subsequently, a second input is received at the vaporizer. In response thereto, the plant material is heated to the vaporization temperature, in a second heating step. Patent number: 11699528Abstract: Automatically gathering and processing data relating to risk of patient falls. The data is analyzed to determine a level of risk each patient has for falling. Patient risk for falls is stratified and protocols are implemented to mitigate that risk. The system communicates instructions and alerts to caregivers to complete tasks or provide aid to patients. Updates to patient medical information and updates to best practices in fall risk management result in updates to patient risk stratifications.
