  • Patent number: 11367040
Abstract: Various embodiments provide systems and methods for facilitating synchronized delivery of shipments/items scheduled to be delivered to multiple serviceable points located nearby one another. Various embodiments identify nearby serviceable points based on an identification of serviceable points being logically clustered. Accordingly, various embodiments store a record for a serviceable point comprising data identifying the serviceable point and data identifying a second serviceable point. Thereafter, shipping data for a first shipment to be delivered to the serviceable point is received, and the record for the serviceable point is accessed to retrieve the data identifying the second serviceable point. A second shipment scheduled to be delivered to the second serviceable point is identified, and an indication is provided that the first and second shipments are eligible for synchronized delivery.

  • Patent number: 11368491
Abstract: Techniques are described for adjusting policy characteristics based on a determined similarity between routes. A similarity metric may be determined indicating the similarity between a first route followed by a vehicle and/or driver and a second (e.g., previous) route followed by the vehicle and/or driver. A similarity metric may indicate the similarity in movements, and changes in movement, exhibited by the vehicle on the routes. The similarity metric may be determined through analysis of real time data collected by in-vehicle sensor(s), mobile user device(s), external sensors or other data sources. Based on the similarity metric, a premium, a deductible, a price, or other characteristic(s) of a policy may be determined. In some examples, policy characteristics may be adjusted (e.g., in real time) based on the analysis according to changing risk conditions if a driver is following routes that are dissimilar from typical routes.

  • Patent number: 11365590
Abstract: An example method for dynamic wear prediction for a drill bit with a cutting structure may include receiving at a processor of an information handling system an unworn profile of the cutting structure and a diamond distribution of the cutting structure. The diamond distribution may include a three-dimensional diamond distribution characterized by radial and axial position on the drill bit. The method may include calculating a final predicted wear profile of the cutting structure based, at least in part, on the unworn profile and the diamond distribution. The method also may include calculating iterations of intermediary wear profiles based, at least in part, on the previous wear profile and the diamond distribution. The final predicted wear profile may indicate a fully worn portion of the cutting structure. A usable life for the drill bit may be determined based, at least in part, on the final predicted wear profile.
