Abstract: A tubing assembly can include a pressure holding barrier with an opening between a first and a second area of the pressure holding barrier. The opening can define a passageway. A deformable stop can be positioned within the passageway that restricts fluid flow through the passageway. The deformable stop can be responsive to an application of pressure from the first area of the pressure holding barrier above a pre-set threshold by deforming. The deformable stop, when deformed, can restrict fluid flow from the first area of the pressure holding barrier to a second area of the pressure holding barrier.

Abstract: Various downhole logging tools and methods of using and making the same are disclosed. In one aspect, a downhole logging tool for inspecting a well casing is provided that includes a housing adapted to be supported in the well casing by a support cable. A transmitter is positioned in the housing and operable to generate a magnetic field. Plural receivers are positioned in the housing in circumferentially-spaced apart relation and are operable to sense the magnetic field with azimuthal sensitivity. Electronic circuitry is operatively coupled to the receivers to determine a parameter of the sensed magnetic field and determine a characteristic of the well casing based on the parameter.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a system that includes a storage component that stores data and a processor. The processor may install an application using a portion of the storage component, partition the portion of the storage component from a remaining portion of the storage component, and execute the application via the portion of the storage component.

Abstract: Tools, systems and methods for fast formation dip angle estimation, at least some of which include a logging tool that includes at least one transmit antenna, at least one receive antenna and a controller. The controller measures coupling parameters between the transmit and receive antennas, with at least one of the coupling parameters being measured as a function of depth and azimuthal angle. The controller further determines if a surrounding formation is anisotropic and heterogeneous based at least in part on at least one of the coupling parameters, and if so, derives a dip angle from a partial derivative with respect to depth and artificial dip angle of the coupling parameter(s).
Abstract: One example of well treatment design based on three-dimensional wellbore shape can be implemented as a computer-implemented method. Wellbore data including acoustic logging data that defines an internal shape of a wall of the wellbore at multiple locations around the perimeter of the wellbore can be received. A volume of an open hole portion of the wellbore that includes the multiple locations can be determined using the wellbore data. Using the volume of the open hole portion of the wellbore, a volume of a fluid loss treatment to treat the portion of the wellbore for well fluid loss can be determined.
Abstract: Clients can develop surveys on a client machine, and send a hosting server details about the survey that will be provided to a survey participant. The survey details can include information identifying a media item to be streamed to the survey participant as part of the survey, survey questions, and timing related to the survey questions. The hosting server can determine a length of time between a time when a survey participant begins viewing the media item, or when some other action is performed, and a time when survey questions are answered. The survey participant can be ranked based on the time difference. The time at which survey questions are displayed, and which questions are displayed, can be tied to how much of a media item the survey participant has viewed.
Abstract: A system is provided that includes a fiber optic cable and a fiber optic interrogator. The fiber optic cable contains acoustical sensors that can be positioned in stimulation fluid in a wellbore. The fiber optic interrogator can determine flow rate of the stimulation fluid based on signals from the fiber optic cable.
